  • OTAGEI basically

  • this organized chaos where the energy builds and you're gonna get really excited

  • and it exploded to action but also work that everybody else

  • and the whole room is just really exciting

  • Began around ten years ago and the probably started because a lot of DJ's

  • That we're into other kinda music like techno house

  • They are happen to be ANIME fans and they do realize that they could take

  • to the music that they like from their own ANIME and actually

  • Mix it the same way to the did for other music and that's how it started

  • and then it's the only kept growing and growing and now especially because

  • number of ANIME has been growing there are more and more songs to use

  • and so this culture has grown in depth

  • in terms of the themes that it addresses and the different kinds of parties not

  • only just general ANIME , there are

  • classics there are some special

  • DJ parties that are dealing with a particular ANIME or ANIME genre

  • So that the variety and the interest of these different kinds of

  • parties are only growing

  • These two cosplayers take there love for ANIME music to another level

  • Packing energy and excitement

  • They're hit on stage to the lovers of the genre

  • At every events are these light sticks

  • Some OTAKU love them so much

  • They have utility belts displaying extraordinary color

  • LED battery powered ones that really radiate color

  • It's an essential tool for an after hours OTAKU

  • For beginner like me

  • It's easy to start off

  • The light sticks are used for OTAGEI dancing

  • and each song has its own moves

  • This is my first time to doing OTAGEI , and I don't even know how to do it!

  • There seems to be a lot of coordinated moves

  • I had one that was snappy stick or something

  • Well, that's gone out so it's good to have one with a battery in it

  • like a lot of other people

  • There seems to be a lot of OTAGEI going on! Gotta get back to it!
