But in terms of the direct question, who has the best shot to knock off the Lakers?

It will be the Golden State Warriors for a simple reason.

It doesn't need to be complicated like some people might try to make it.

They have the greatest shooting backcourt known to man.

There has never been anybody, Ah, backcourt in N BA history that can shoot like these brothers Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

I don't give a damn if his Dennis Johnson in downtown Freddie Brown or Gus Johnson.

I don't give a damn if his Magic and Michael Cooper.

I don't give a Magic and Byron Scott a Magic and Norm Nixon before Byron Scott.

I don't give a damn if it's Isaiah Dumars.

I don't care what you come up with, Stockman Horn and check it.

Don't matter.

There has never and, I repeat, ever been a backcourt that can shoot the way those brothers could shoot it.

Is that simple to me?

And I Look, I'm not bringing into any other elements.

I think that he's a great all around player.

He's a short five first ballot future Hall of Famer, one of the top five shooters in NBA history.

As far as I'm concerned, I know that I'm strictly I'm strictly talking about the ability to shoot the basketball.

All of a sudden, you gotta find them on the wings 30 ft away from the basket because they fire away.

They are the greatest shooting backcourt I have ever seen, and to me, toe knockoff LeBron and a D.

That's what it's going to take, and that's the only thing it's going to take.

Um, Clay Thompson scored 26 points in a quarter one year in a quarter, and it was his second best scoring quarter off the season.

It was 26 was the second best.

If you scored 26 points in the quarter and it's not even close to your best because he dropped 37 which is the record I love the word about the 60 or 12 dribbles.

Clay Thompson is capable of getting hotter than any player who ever lived.

When I see what they do with all their parts, let's see the clays healthy.

Let's see what kind of moves they make.

But as of right now, with everything we know about the team, I will take the Nuggets.

Guys, think about Jamal Murray in the playoffs.

Last year it was How many times have you seen something like that in your life in the playoffs?

Jamal Murray was.

He lost his mind 50 points with no turnover.

Stuff like at one point is like 93 points without a turnover or something like that, coming up huge in the clutch.

And then Yokich Yokich was running point for this team, a 7 ft center, a load in the paint.

He's taking the ball up and running.

You're running the offense through him playing point center.

And then there's Michael Porter Jr.

Remember, the whole thing was if he could stay healthy.

That's why he didn't get drafted higher.

What about his health?

He looked pretty good.

Can't play defense yet.

And here's what's instructive to me.

This is the tie breaker for me with the Nuggets, based on what the Warriors are right now, if they package Wiggins in a pick and something like that and they bring in another player, maybe if you had to ask me to forecast by the time they're done making their team, who I may take the work I'm talking about right now with the roster, Porter is going to be 22 this upcoming season.

Jamal Murray, 23 and Yokich, 25.

You know what that means?

They're all likely to mean Porter obviously is ascending.

But Murray and Yogurt, you're probably gonna be better.

And that's in the regular season.

In the playoffs, they were way better than they were in the regular season.

So take watch Murray and Yokich this past season, make them better twice and give them a third wheel who really can score.

You can't play defense yet, but he can score and then think of how they played under pressure.

As of this moment, I think they have the best shot.

You know how much he's chomping at the bits with all of these cats, doubt and what this brother could bring to the table because he got injured and all this up.

They won three championships, including won back to back.

And you got folks talking about Steph Curry and Clay like like like we forgot who the hell they are.
