-Hello everyone from the tip of Kagoshima in Kyushu.
I'm now broadcasting live from this spot, Nagasaki-Bana,
the end of Japan except for Okinawa
This is where I'm starting my hitchhiking trip with you for the next month
Behing me is a massisve volcano which is more impressive than Mount Fuji in my opinion
becasue it's right there.
And it's surrounded by beautiful blue water and this is where I started hitchhiking trip back in 2003
This is where I'll start again in 2017, 14 years later
I'm picking up where I left off going from here to Hokkaido
But I just wanted to take a moment t to share with you
information about this trip that I'm doing and what I will be doing for the next month
I will be blogging with this camera, Panasonic Page 5, Sennheiser Shotgun Mic, XLR port take a pretty good video
I am also going to use the I-phone 7
This is to be an adventure for anything had happened because nothing is plannted except my safe arrival
In Hokkaido which isn't even planned now I want to bring you cherry blossoms
I wanted to show you cherry blossoms I came to Kagoshima yesterday
Trees yet which is kind of sucks because that ruins that plan
But today I'm here and brought my drone and the drone is going to fly, but I don't think it's going to fly over the volcano
But it's going to fly around this area and bring you some awesome footage
I'm going to try my best to put a video up every single day
I have a tent and a brand new Dell with a nice fast processor where I can edit the video and put it online by the end of the day
Don't blame me if the quality is not as good as unusual format, I think it's good enough
I hope most of the narration is going to be done like this where I'm talking directly to you through the microphones
This is an Iphone so the audio might really suck because quite windy
But I am speaking loud enough to where maybe you can hear me I am going to tell you
I am stoked because I don't know just sort of a little bit emotional about it
That trip took me a month 20 picked me up and and dropped me off, pick me up again it took me to this very spot
I am here again14 years later for those of you tuning in I'm in Nagasaki-Bana
I'm on the end of Kyushu in Kagoshima to start this hitchhiking trip
So they put my camera down, all right don't move; Everybody at this moment proclaim this trip is on with Ultraman hair
I will push onto the great unknown or known if they're actually cities but to the very end of Kyushu, Honshu, Aomori, then to Hakodate, which is in Hokkaido, sometime at the end of April
It was good to like see you know like you have to do it I can't just stop you make an statement like that district going back is there so comments coming and this is really awesome
I'm going to do a live stream from my tent tonight to streaming episode up and then upload this all together
So if you have some questions hit me up tonight again on the YouTube channel
Probably in about eight hours from now
I'll be back online and answering your questions about this trip
Let me give you a wrap around here
Temperature isn't so cold. It's about 17 degrees Celsius or what is that like 65 Fahrenheit it says pretty moderate
I am glad to have my jacket on the wind and you can here the wind
I'm there's nothing between me and Okinawa except a bunch of rocks
See that way Okinawa, Taiwan and I want to leave you this way Moss pool and fungus pool
I am going to leave you with this thank you all for over the years just subscribing and being a viewer of the show
that's one reason why I'm doing this trip
because I want to do something different I want to do something not I want to do
something not so scripted and so you planned where I have to make reservations and appointment go on locations
and do stuff I want to do something
that's more spontaneous something
that's more real, more natural, something that's more you know
I want the opportunity to show yo what the real Japan is
through my eyes by meeting real Japanese people
By meeting real people ,by meeting locals, by meeting, by seeing things
that isn't Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima isn't country cities,
See something like what I'm showing you now absolutely stunning in a place
If you are here for two weeks you probably wouldn't go to
But if you had as much time as you as I did living here as a resident
I'm going to bring you it seems like this to amazing place
I am going to share a life we're going to do this all the way to Hokkaido for a month in a tent
Now to fund this trip I do have patron page and Kickstarter page
if you can buy a DVD copy of this trip for a month and help ease financially support this trip
I mostly be sending postcards via Kickstarter so if you go to Kickstarter they get ten or 15 bucks
I'll send you a postcard from the road and money goes to hang me back
Kickstarter's like if you make enough money for the budget you start
but I've already started it I don't care about the money if I make it great, if not,
You know where to go, so I made my Proclamation
My backpack see them over there
boom backpack filled with a drone, tripot, tent, sleeping bag and other goodies
you're Japanese and you see me on the roadside picked me up, don't just horn, give you the finger
it happened before my last trip people would drive by and they made a horn and make you know gesture
and me Sydney on the roadside picked me a nice guy
I will fight I promise I'm not carrying any weapons in my bag,
but we'll have some fun
and my Proclmation done
I'll leave you all to go about your day or night whereever you are in the world
thanks again for tuning in I'm Ultraman I will see you again soon
