Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles [Nancy] "Nancy's Pique-nique." [thunder rumbling] Fancy onion dip, Grandpa? Mmm. Oh! Bonjour. Hello. Today, Grandpa and I are having a pique-nique. That's French for "picnic." And since it's raining outside-- We're picnicking inside, where it's nice and dry. [chuckles] But we can still do my favorite part of picnicking-- getting to know each other better. Okay, you start then. Tell me something I don't know about Nancy. Well, you probably know that I'm considering being a famous ballerina when I grow up. Considering is fancy for "thinking it over." I do know. I've been in the front row of all of your recitals. But what you probably don't know is that I'm also considering being a famous French chef. Oh, I hope you serve these peanut butter and banana roll-ups. -They're so yummy. -[chuckles] Mais oui. Of course! But enough about me. Tell me something I don't know about you. Well, when I was your age, I wanted to be an astronaut. An astronaut? That's fancy for someone who flies into outer space. I even went to space camp. Had the time of my life learning about stars and rockets. Rockets? You, Grandpa? No offense, but I find that hard to believe. I can prove it. I still carry the ID card they gave us at space camp. "Space Cadet Franky"? Ooh là là! You really did want to be an astronaut. And some nights, when the moon's full, I still do. Maybe someday, you will get to fly into outer space, Grandpa. Well, if I ever do, I hope you'll come with me. You can dance ballet on the moon. And open a French restaurant on a star. Sounds grand, kiddo. Hey, it stopped raining. Wanna take our picnic outside? No, I'm happy right where we are. Me too, Nancy. Me too.
