And Connolly was so good throughout the Siri's, but two for 13 in Game seven.

Jazz played only eight in this final game.

They were very clearly on fumes anyway, and again Denver only played nine.

They seem spent as well, these two young stars Murray and Mitchell, Battle of Butts off in the best series of the playoffs thus far.

Jazz needed another score and the rugged West to take the next step, and they're going to need another one moving forward.

Denver.

Well, they had this guy, Nicola Yokich, who was so good with 17 of the 30 they had in the second half.

Denver had just 30 and the second half.

I want to say Murray had that many in the second half by himself in one of these games.

He also made that go ahead bucket with 27 seconds left, and it stood up, now shooting six or seven on go ahead shots in the final 30 seconds this season, the most makes by any player in the MBA welcome Tim Legler to the show behind me looks like it's almost a half time score for much of this.

Siri's Tim and this jazz Nuggets, Siri's mostly was framed as two young stars going head to head and largely that I was accurate.

But in the end, when it came down a winning time, one of the Nuggets have that the Jazz did not.

Yeah, you know, it's interesting, Scott going into the Siri's, the Nuggets best player was considered to be Nikola Yoke.

It's right.

And then Jamal Murray just took over the Siri's and Mitchell, obviously as well.

And Yokich was great the entire time.

But now, here you go late in Game seven, you need quality buckets.

It's nice to have the luxury of throwing it into a guy that your best player to go get your three quality shots, and it was three different ways.

We'll take a look at the first.

He catches the ball in the post.

I love this one turns and faces look ago.

Bears hand up in the air because yoga just hit that face up shot of him so many times in the Siri's so that allows the swing through beats him to the baseline and then the patient's pivot pivot up.

Fake up fake finally gets go bear off his feet, gets the layup Next one little two man game with Murray.

I love this one because Yokich doesn't pop back for the three.

He sees the space behind Gobert and gobbles it up with a hard dive, knowing that Gobert the angle he has to take to get back.

There's no way he could get there in time to contest that.

It's a little floater for Yokich with finesse.

And then, finally, the game winner turns faces swing through again.

Now he's got the back down game in the post going, and I love this because he turns with up under, but it's nothing there.

Gobert doesn't bite.

Watch the footwork one more spin and then Alina way fadeaway jump hook with soft touch, incomprehensible touch for a guy that size to get the game winner.

And this is just so impressive to be Scott, because Jamal Murray obviously went to another planet in this Siri's.

But Nikolai Yokich is the guy that you go to a the end toe win it because they had to offensive players that are all Stars to run their offense through jazz only had one, and ultimately, that was the difference in the Siri's and difference.

In Game seven, you used the right word, a luxury toe.

Have another All Star.

That's a scoring option that ultimately wins in the game.

You heard me with Murray earlier.

This poor guy.

He didn't know they had to play on Thursday, and the exhaustion was palpable in him and then watching this game and your reward.

Your reward is this Clipper team that defensively can attack you in ways that are very different, aren't they, Tim?

Oh, no question about it.

He's gonna see much different defense on the perimeter in the next Siri's.

And when you look at the length they could throw at him with Kawai and Paul George and even their bigger guys could jump out, do a much better job of Marcus Morris could switch out, and I look back to earlier matchups and you take a look at the difference with having a guy is strong and big and long is co I Leonard guarding you.

Look at the way he fights over screens, the determination to get to Jamal Murray first and then Jamal Murray knowing that this guy is going to track him into that mid range area.

So you force him into the lane, you forced him into some very tough decisions.

He is not gonna have the same space toe operate in this series.

And both of these examples are Kawhi Leonard.

Well, let's throw a Patrick Beverley into the mix is gonna pick you up 94 ft and wear you out before you ever get the half court.

And then, Oh, by the way, you might get handed off to Paul George, who's in all caliber, all league caliber defensive player.

And if their bigs have to switch out, they could do that as well, putting Lou Williams or Reggie Jackson on you.

So he's going to see so many different guys fresh legs in front of him, and they're gonna extend out much further than you saw the Utah Jazz be willing to do and s.

So I think it's gonna be much more difficult for Jamal Murray to replicate what we just saw.

Obviously be impossible, maybe the rest of his life to replicate that.

But I think this in general to make his life miserable particularly the start of the Siri's.

While these guys are still trying to recover from what they just went through.

Tim, I'm sure Coach Malone and the Nuggets are gonna look at this.

His house money.

They got another Siri's to play.

But, man, you spend so much mental and physical energy, you've got to be ready for the Clippers and a couple nights.
