  • Congratulations.

  • It's so great to have you on the program here.

  • Second, go around for you.

  • What's it like to be a world champion again?

  • It's amazing, you know, Came here as well.

  • The reason why we play the game and e came here for that reason, and, you know, I'm happy to be here.

  • Give us an idea of what it was like in the sixth inning.

  • Blake Snell was pitching so well, it's such a huge part of this of this game.

  • You're getting ready to come up after the single and you see Kevin Cash coming out of the bullpen to take Snell out of the game.

  • What's going through your mind at that moment?

  • Uh, just why, you know, I wasn't exactly sure why.

  • And I was gonna ask any more questions after that because hey, was he was rolling through that game pretty well.

  • So Ah, you know, you can't Ah, you know, you just be thankful.

  • Sometimes.

  • Give us a new idea of later in the inning.

  • Of course, you get on base here on third.

  • There's a hard hit groundball to first.

  • And as we saw in game three, you beat the throw home.

  • Can you take us through that play again?

  • Yes.

  • Uh, you know, like I said, it's the same thing.

  • Just reading the height of the ball.

  • I know how to get a good secondary window was holding me on, but I knew once I saw them delivered to the plate, I needed thio gained a little ground and get closer.

  • And, uh, you know, just as soon as I saw him starting to swing, I started to go make contact on the ground.

  • Just looked like a good read.

  • But it was all kind of, uh, just guessing, guessing and guessing correctly, as you did.

  • I said Game three.

  • It was Game one, uh, the first time around that we saw that Mookie, uh, you know, I had a chance to chat with you on baseball tonight, last year at Fenway Park while you were taking batting practice.

  • And that was sort of asking you about what the future might hold in store for you as you look back on 2020 the trade in February.

  • The big contract.

  • $365 million over the summer, where you are right now.

  • How do you put 2020 for yourself into context.

  • Uh, it Zbynek Goodyear.

  • I mean, it's been obviously a really good year.

  • A lot of positive things that happened, obviously a lot of negative things as well.

  • But, um, you know, I just, uh you gotta take the good with the bad and, um, baseball wise, I think, uh, you know, we set our goal and we accomplished it, so Ah, you can't ask for much more than that.

  • You are a part of the Red Sox team that won a world Siri's.

  • But of course, you come over to the Dodgers and you've got to know all the storylines, obviously, through in the past three years, unable to win the world Siri's.

  • But you win it this year and you win it with Clayton Kershaw, clearly one of the best players of his generation.

  • You win it with Dave Roberts.

  • And managers come close so many times.

  • What are your feelings about Kershaw and Roberts winning their first world?

  • Siri's um, I mean, obviously I'm super happy, super happy just toe win and be a part of some legacies.

  • Doc is 111 playing.

  • And, um, now, now managing curse has been so close and there's so many knocks about him in the playoffs.

  • But, you know, he carried us, man.

  • He pitched amazing, you know, through this whole playoffs.

  • And I mean, we didn't score some runs a couple of times, but you know what he did on the mound?

  • What he's done on the mound for his career has been amazing.

  • I'm just happy that I could be behind, You know, I could be on his team now instead of hitting against him and Mookie.

  • I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you about Julio Urias, who was spectacular throughout the postseason.

  • He was great again tonight.

  • I mean, you're in right field and you're watching that final strike.

  • Can you talk about what you saw on that way and what your emotions were immediately after that?

  • Uh, yeah.

  • I mean, obviously explode, you know, let it all out.

  • I tried to hold it all together throughout the game because I think I don't remember which it may have been game for something when they came back and won.

  • Um, you know, I knew I needed to hold together.

  • And as soon as that last out or strike or whatever it was I was gonna explode because, you know, it's been so long and that's this is the reason why I came here.

  • You know, I was traded for and came here for for one job.

  • And you know, I'm happy I executed it.

  • Cody Bellinger, join us.

  • Champion of the world.

  • Siri's.

  • Uh, congratulations.

  • Firstly, thanks for joining us.

  • How is it all sinking in in this insane season during co vid?

  • I have to ask in the late innings your teammate Justin Turner is pulled after they say tested positive for Covic.

  • How bizarre was that?

  • Or did you guys even know what was going on?

  • Yeah, I found out Uhh the top of the ninth when really feel the ground balls I didn't realize is in the game.

  • So shocks, man, It's so it's so annoying that he's not out here with us.

  • Hey, deserves to be out here.

  • Um, but yeah, that was shocking to me.

  • Yeah, we're wishing him well as well.

  • It says 2020 as it gets in the middle of a World Series championship for the game itself.

  • How surprised were you when the other side pulled Snell, who was going on so well through the sixth inning?

  • I was shocked.

  • I saw Kevin Cash from the dugout was right there.

  • I looked to my left, was like, What is going on?

  • Were kind of joking around the dugout were like, man, way to get him out in six.

  • Like that's what we wanted to get him out in the sixth.

  • And I mean, we did that way, didn't hit him at all, But he was nasty today.

  • He was on his on his a game and, uh, kinda got up, looked at their book.

  • You gotta hit right away, and we just kind of took off from there and try to take advantage, that opportunity and you have to go back to the last Siri's.

  • You guys were down 3 to 1.

  • I mean, it's almost like every single game has been elimination since then.

  • For you guys, it has been a crazy, right, man?
