Earlier this month, I made a video about Africa that said, Don't be careful if Africa be excited for its potential.

That's a minute most people agreed with that statement, except for a few who said I got robbed in Africa.

Look at all these statistics and others called it the shit hole.

Then it dawned on me.

When it comes to underdeveloped countries, our brains get lazy.

We tend to classify, generalize and stereotype.

One robbery in Africa.

The whole continent is bad.

But when it comes to our own countries, we don't generalize.

40 people die in a mass shooting.

It's only one guy that's bad.

Brown water comes out of the sink.

It's only one city.

That's the problem.

Well, guess what?

There are entire countries in Africa that are actually safer than South Side of Chicago.

That is a fact.

At the end of the day, Africa as a continent is not a shit hole.

Your brain is just lazy.
