The superlative

Tokyo has one of the best public transportation systems in the world, albeit somewhat daunting at first glance.

You could walk pretty much 20 minutes in any direction.

There's a train station there less if you use Busses and it's all connected to the rest of the country through the high speed bullet trains really is something else.

It makes life in Japan incredibly convenient and accessible on.

I think I've only taken one train since February.

There are better ways to get around the city.

Tokyo is a lot smaller than most people think, especially central Tokyo.

I came out toe yo, go through this morning to watch the sumo training and always enjoy swinging through this little park way.

But things in Japan are changing and it looks like I might end up taking public transportation again pretty soon.

Which band talking about opening up the borders again for tourism the job offers have started to come in, and I've turned down most of them so far.

In fact, I was supposed to be doing a photo tour across Japan with moment this year, and, uh, but I've also just really enjoyed having the freedom in my schedule to go out and shoot all the things that I like and want to share with you guys as well.

Bridge, especially, is a lot of the places I want to share right now are empty.

In fact, I think this is the first non Livestream video I've done in Tokyo and something like three months, three months eyes it.

Things just feel safer outside of the city right now.

You would think that by this point we would all be pretty much used to living with a question mark hanging over basically any future plans.

But more realistically, it doesn't really get any easier, does it?

There's been a lot of challenge, a lot of sadness, an incredible amount of loss through it all, almost too much to even even process.

Honestly, if you've gotten this far with both your health and your sanity intact, you pretty much proven that you have the mental strength to survive.

You should be proud of yourself should be a huge confidence.

E e always worried about whether or not I'd be able to survive.

All the sponsored jobs and shamisen performances suddenly disappeared, and the shamisen performances, especially, are a huge part of what was making all of this possible.

But we're still here in some ways potentially doing better than we've ever done, really making the best out of it.

They're gonna be people who feel that it's far too early.

That's the big question, but also beautiful day today.

It was freezing cold this morning, but it's been nothing but rain lately, so I'm glad I'm glad to have the sunshine.

I've spent the better part of probably 40 minutes in this park, so peaceful here.

A little bit of construction every now and then, but for the most part, it's it's quiet and there's nobody.

This is probably one of the things I miss the most about.

Living on this side of Tokyo is just knowing where all the little hidden nooks and crannies are that I can hide out without people.
