The Right Stuff Coming to Disney plus October 9th 2020.

Based on Tom Wolfe's 1979 book, this television adaptation certainly seems well positioned to live up to its name.

This story ends climax in space on it starts right here on Earth.

The right stuff follows the lives of the Mercury seven and their families.

After their names were publicly announced by NASA in 1959 these brave pilots and America's first astronauts became overnight celebrities for their groundbreaking contributions to the early days of the space race.

People will feel like they know you.

They wanna be you.

These men and the rigorous trials they went through are truly the stuff of legend.

I know what you want, John, but it's almost like you're afraid of the competition.

The book was previously adapted as a film in the early eighties.

But given the year's worth of stories to come out of this chapter in American history, ah, high budget serialized retelling certainly feels justified.

Ever heard of a man by the name of Clive Barker?

He just so happens to be among the most famous figures of modern horror fiction and film.

Yeah, dead.

There's so much closer than you realize Over the years he's given us influential properties such as Hell Raiser and Candy Man.

Clive Barker's books of Blood are a collection of short stories collected in six volumes.

The book was previously adapted by Alfred Hitchcock himself, So director Ben Wheatley certainly has some big shoes to fill.

But based on that beautiful and haunting trailer, we feel like he might just be able to do it.

Screenwriter is one of the many hats he wears American Utopia is a film that defies classification.

Although it's considered a concert film, it's actually, in fact a live recording of an adapted version of Burns.

American Utopia album being performed on Broadway While it's David Byrne's name in the title.

It's also a Spike Lee joint, meaning the enigmatic black Klansman director is at the helm.

A strong ensemble cast Hollywood legend Aaron Sorkin serving is both director and screenwriter.

This film has awards season written all over it.

The trial of the Chicago seven is a legal drama inspired by the rial court battle that occurred in 1968 stemming from anti Vietnam war protests.

There's no place to be right now, but in it the film was originally intended for a theatrical release, but it's headed to Netflix as a result of the cove in 19 Pandemic.

Sorkin's trademark dialogue is front and center in the trailer, which also highlights the film Star Power.

I call this portion of the trialing with friends like these.

And speaking of star power Yaya Abdul Mateen, the second Sasha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Michael Keaton are just a few of the big names appearing in this film.

With a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

It promises to be a satisfying and timely viewing experience.

The Haunting of Blind Manner Coming to Netflix october 9th 2020 Based on the Turn of the Screw by Henry James, The Haunting of Blind Manner is a good old fashioned haunted house story.
