But you have to do it with the mind toe, get what we're trying to do.

You can You have to have a really thought behind it in a discipline and poise.

Then the first two games Dan here in the front spo the Lakers turn it over, I think, like 10 times in the first quarter or something like that, You guys only lead by three.

That moment did you feel like there was an opportunity there that we didn't take full advantage of it?

And then, I guess, secondly, Jimmy's just physical toughness that the fouls he took late?

Hey, wasn't he got hit down there, but then he knows how to do that.

You have to be able to compete at a high level on.

There's gonna be a lot of ups and downs during the course of it.

I liked it and I wanted I really wanted to see how we're going to respond.

We've been in those moments in game games one and two of their too fleeting.

Um, when we respond to do it, uh, better tonight on did in terms of the physicality, you know, this is what Jimmy, why he prepares the way he does that is so uncommon year round is to be ableto take on that physicality to make those plays, to be able to draw fouls and take contact and and get up and be able to make those free throws.

Hey, just was, you know, it's so settling when you have that type of guy in a really competitive game like this, it allows your other guys and we're playing young guys.

They don't have toe worry about too much pressure or context.

They could just be who they are when you have, um, somebody like that that takes on all the pressure for them.

Um, so also, just in terms of what Jimmy today, guarding LeBron in one end and taking over the offense and the other end, Where would you rank this in terms of some of the best individual performance as you've seen throughout your coaching career?

Well, first Malibu High, Salama Po, Um And then secondly, out of all due respect, I'm not going to rank it.

Jimmy understands this, that it's going to take whatever is necessary everything over the top and beyond.

Um, this is not about comparing, uh, to anybody else in the history.

It's about what we're trying to get accomplished in this locker room.

We have a very committed group, but to this, we have incredible respect for this opponent way.

Um, if we're not on top of our game, uh, you know, we saw what it could look like, you know, And in the previous two games.

Um, but this is why we way, uh, pursued Jimmy, you know so aggressively.

Uh, we just felt all across the board there was an alignment that we're sharing the same competitive values for right or wrong, and we don't.

It doesn't matter what everybody else thinks it's were aligned on that on your able to build a culture from that and and develop a team around him.

Even the greatest players in the history of sports sometimes come up short when their team needs them the most.

The way you needed Jimmy in this game tonight.

What is it about Jimmy that makes him able to produce his greatest game ever in his most desperate game ever?

Well, I think there's a lot of genuine care and love in this locker room.

You guys really want to do this for each other?

Um, our hearts are broken, you know about going and bam, you know, missing these games because there's there's sincere love for them and Jimmy takes that to heart.

You guys know that they have to doom or until or if those guys come back.

Um, but, you know, this is what competitions all about.

You have to have you have toe raise your game.

And like I said, many times, you just can't put in analytic or a number or an evaluation to Jimmy Butler in the conventional way.
