  • Then she lost her brother.

  • Did you catch all that?

  • I hope you did catch it.

  • Because four years later on Monday, Steph went back toe makeup school.

  • Now she's a makeup artist who can drive a car by herself, put on clothes by herself and even surf.

  • But it's never easy if she drops a makeup brush, getting it back as close to impossible to get in a car.

  • It takes her five minutes it on surfing.

  • Using no hands or legs is hard.

  • People call her an inspiration and a role model, but that was never her goal.

  • All I'm trying to be is me.

  • That's one minute we'll see you tomorrow.

  • The guy next to me will make you change your mind on the term keyboard warrior because he is the rial warrior, huh?

  • When he was 18 his entire muscle system collapsed and he could no longer move.

  • And for the next 19 years he's been bedridden in his home in Siri Lanka.

  • But this is not a sad story.

  • It's an inspiring one.

  • Despite having strength Onley in one finger, he taught himself to read and write English.

  • He wrote and wrote and wrote.

  • And when he couldn't write on a laptop, he wrote on an iPhone to publish three full books in English that sold in the thousands.

  • One of them took one year to tight.

  • Doctors gave him until 18 to live.

  • But now he's 37 living on a ventilation machine, fasting during Ramadan and planning his fourth book, This guy fought to live his life, fought to write his thoughts and fought to make his voice heard on Lee through a keyboard.

  • He should be the new definition off a keyboard warrior.

  • That's very, very few.

  • Tomorrow Meet Omar.

  • Hi, my name is Omar.

  • Some five years ago, Omar was on top of the world.

  • He had just climbed the seven summits, including Everest Mountain, and he was about to have his first child with the love of his life.

  • It doesn't get better than this.

  • But right after giving birth to his daughter, his wife unexpectedly passed away.

  • He got devastated, and like most people in that situation, he almost gave up.

  • But Omar did not.

  • He picked himself up and dedicated himself to continuing.

  • His wife's worked.

  • Reaching over 100,000 kids, he trained day and night to reach the North and South Pole.

  • He attempted to cross the Atlantic Ocean by a rowing and plans to go to space in the near future and to commemorate his wife.

  • He named an entire mountain in Antarctica after her.

  • This mountain is called not model because he was the first to climate.

  • Omar is a reminder that when life drags you to the absolute bottom, the on leeway from there is up.

  • That's one minute before you go.

  • One last thing.

  • That video you just saw I made using this camera and this microphone.

  • But for the first time ever, I'm ditching my camera and I'm picking up my podcasting equipment because, yes, I'm starting a podcast.

  • It's called mass talks.

  • It's free and it's on Lee on Spotify.
