  • But the cost quickly came down, and it went from status symbol to the logical choice.

  • You couldn't walk down the street without seeing a razor in the hand of a passer by.

  • It's easy to get caught up in the aesthetics, but it's important to remember that Motorola achieved that sleek profile through innovative design.

  • At the time, this was the slimmest clamshell design on the market.

  • The keypad addressed the increasing shift towards texting by offering buttons that felt huge for the time but made typing a breeze compared to other T nine options.

  • The original raiser might seem small in hindsight, but it was actually quite wide by then.

  • Unlike many other foldable phones, which fold vertically, the new razor states true to its roots and folds horizontally with that satisfying flip motion.

  • It's intuitive and makes the phone especially compact.

  • While the flip still feels similar in terms of specs, the old and new razors are worlds apart.

  • It's kind of mind blowing to look back and think that the first razor in 2004 had 5.5 megabytes of internal memory and no card slot simpler times.

  • By contrast, the model released in early 2020 features a snapdragon 7 10 G processor, six gigs of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage.

  • In reaction to mixed reviews, the most recent model, the Motorola Razor five G, improves on that with a 765 G processor, eight gigs of RAM and 256 gigabytes of storage.

  • The battery capacity is 2800 million powers.

  • The original raiser came with a 1.3 megapixel camera, eventually getting up to two megapixels and subsequent models, some with a secondary camera.

  • Naturally, the 2020 razor ups this considerably with 16 megapixels, or 48 for the five G model and an aperture of F 1.7.

  • It can also shoot four K video.

  • The front camera of the newest model has 20 megapixels, which, thanks to the clamshell design, has the potential to revolutionize yourself a game.

  • The most defining difference in Motorola's new razor is, without a doubt, the folding technology.

  • Hard, though it might be to believe the Razor V three is 2.2 inch 176 by 220.

  • Pixel display felt luxurious back in 2004.

  • The other aspect of it is being driven by the technology that's available.

  • If you can only make batteries of a certain form factor that's going to drive, how big the phone could be in the shape of the phone.

  • If you could only make a screen of a certain form factor, it's exactly the same.

  • And that's why we see phones that are flat.

  • Picking a smartphones gotten kind of boring, and that's a big part of the new Motorola razors appeal.

  • It satisfies modern demands while proving that there's still room for innovation in man.
