And no, I don't have tickets to the actual event.

But Comic Con has a ton of stuff going on outside of the event, and this is my first year going, which I wish I had tickets to get inside.

I live in San Diego, and I'm just never able to get that email to purchase the ticket.

So I decided this year I'm going to actually go toe it and just check out everything that's outside of comic con because I've heard over the years because Comic Con has become so big that they provide or set up a ton of events outside of the convention center.

And when I went yesterday, they it was right.

I mean, there things I read online like, there's a ton of stuff going on outside.

So it's just fun to check out Comic Con outside of the convention center.

I really wanted to check out Cartman's escape room, but rookie me.

I went in the afternoon and the line was crazy.

It was like a four hour wait.

So I don't wanna waste my whole day just waiting in line.

So I walked around and check out all the other events to see how popular they were, How long the wait Waas.

And after talking to several security guards at each of the event places that we're having something they were like, Well, just get here early.

Um, some places you had to get there earlier than others based off of what they saw that day in the previous day.

So Cartman's escape room, the guy was like, You gotta get here like a 6 a.m. And it doesn't open till I think 9.

It's already eight, So I don't think I'm gonna make that one.

But there is another one.

I want to see where the guy was like getting your out nine.

So I'm gonna try that on day to my last day.

Sunday is the last day of comic con some other things going on outside of comic con like, um, Conan in the Conan O Brien show, which I didn't get tickets.

Are you there?

Yes, I am very, very bad about planning Super Super advanced because I think you have to get those like way in advance.

But after checking out yesterday and then what?

I'm gonna go today if I really, really enjoyed it.

Um, I already enjoyed yesterday, so I don't enjoy it today.

But I think I am going to really plan things for next year s so that I could go to the Conan show and also, like, check out online updates because some of these events that I'm going to outside you can actually like some of them you can actually registered to get your ticket.

Um, To get into these events s I don't have to wait in line when you get there.

So it's just a little bit little things here and there that I'm learning things time around.

Hopefully, it'll go smooth next time around.

Or maybe I'll get that awesome email and I can actually purchase a ticket to comic con Um, but yeah, I am excited for day two.

I mean, San Diego, the weather is always beautiful.

It was great weather yesterday in the eighties on, and I'm excited to see how the costumes and hopefully fingers crossed.

I couldn't get into at least one of it without having to wait two hours.

So I'll see you there.

I don't think they eso We're trying to find parking and, um, been kind of going around in circles and up on the blocks around the blocks and haven't been able to find anything yet, so we might have to goto garage parking garage, but they're pretty expensive, so we're gonna probably look around a little bit longer and then head Thio parking garage a little bit away from the convention center, which then the prices start to go down.

Never tried this, That I'm trying to figure out how to ride the scooter to get to the event faster.

Since they parked kind of far at the gas lamp district.

Now on, we're gonna go try to get in line for the good place.

Hopefully, it's not long.

It took us a while to get here because I couldn't find parking.

So I ended up getting renting a scooter and my first pride was free.

So that was nice E along.

Right?

So the security guards said yesterday if I came in our early before opening, it probably wouldn't be online.

But this'll line is crazy on Oh, yeah, e don't think I'm gonna wait.

So I'm in line right now for the Jack Ryan experience on We're waiting in line to sign up for our Imagine they are just waiting for my badge right now.

I just put all my information in the screen on there putting out my batch.

I got my badge on and they also gave you, like, a wristband.

All right.

They said they have free water and ice cream to cool down.

So we're gonna go check that out thing, Jack.

Experience is pretty cool.

They have all these boots set up where you can take pictures, give me a lot of goodies, got a bag giving tumbler on.

They also all the areas that have people taking.

So that's for you.

And you do is get your badge and female you all the photos later.

So that's pretty cool.

And the one thing I really wanted to do was like, there's flying in the helicopter to our experience.

What?

That's capped off 80 people per day, and I obviously I'm here way.

But that's something I learned for next year in my comp kind of check up on things.

I should, um, just kind of take advantage of this booth.

Carbon used to be my favorite, but now I like Randy.

I'm back now in my car.

I'm ready to head home.

And unfortunately, I didn't get to go to the good place or Cartman's escape Room.

They're just the line is just way too long.

And I really don't have the patience to wait 34 hours when there's so many other things I can, you know, just Steve walk around and just enjoy.

You know, the everyone else's costumes.

And there were there were, like, a little other things you can check out, Um, downtown San Diego, so beautiful.

But you're gonna have fun anyways walking around.

But I will say I did get into one thing called the Jack Ryan experience, and that was pretty cool.

Um, the way it was about 45 minutes.

It wasn't too long.

And the cool thing with that is that they were offering free water, walking around free water, walking around with, like things for you to do So they gave like a newspaper paper that had like, well, like a Jack Ryan newspaper that had a cross word puzzle to help kill time.

While you're online, they passed out snacks and all this is free.

So then after we after waiting 45 minutes.

Then we got into the line to get our badge and the badge.

You know, it has your name and your email address.

And that way, when you get in, when they take pictures for you in there, they scan your badge and I'll email it to you.

So it's almost like I was at Disney World, but it was all free, Um, anyways, and I also for the first time used one of the city scooters.

It was a city scooter, but the the bird and line, which it wasn't I didn't really use it in the crowded areas.

But since I parked kind of far, it's parking is kind of hard to find, um, right in the area, and it's really outrageously priced.

But if you park a little bit further away, the prices for parking or a lot more reasonable well, you might get lucky and find street parking.

But we parked in the garage and then we found one of the scooters, and I have never used it.

But it was pretty easy to set up, just downloaded the app and just walks you through it really fast.

So Then we got on the scooter and then headed straight thio the main area of Comic Con.

And then when we're finished, we just picked up with Scooter we saw along the way and then headed back Thio Parking Garage.

I had a great time.

I even though I don't have the actual access inside the Comic Con convention Center, it was really fun.

Outside of comic con, there's lots to do.

Lots to see uh, everyone's friendly and yeah, and the weather is beautiful.

I should have done this sooner.

Uh, next year I know I will definitely make sure Thio, wake up super early If I don't want to stand in lines too long, Maybe keep an eye out for special emails where you can preregister for some of these things that they have outside on e think that's it.

But I loved it.

I loved comic con and I can't wait to see who's gonna be there next year.
