Hello from Harajuku!

I'm here with my new friend Pixie today

She is a Canadian youtuber with the most adorable fashion I have ever seen

She's colourful af!

You guys should really go check out her channel!

Today is actually the first time I've met her

She's in Japan for... How long are you here for?

Two weeks!

And she mailed me and asked to meet up

And I was like "Yes! I would love to!"

Yay!

So we're spending the day in Harajuku today

and we're gonna go thrift shopping

and we're gonna look for pastel clothes

I knew that that would be something she'd be up for

So our goal for today is to find

as many cute pastel things at the thrift stores as we can

Let's go get started!

It's a beautiful day outside and I think it's gonna be lots of fun

The first store we stopped at was W❤︎C

And they specialize in pastel clothing mainly

They have a really cute shop down at the bottom

But if you go upstairs they have a used section

And they seem to be really picky about the stuff they sell up there

It all has a cute and pastely theme

You'll see when we go up there

I really wanted a cute jean jacket

But I don't know what colour to get

I know, I want one of the windbreakers

I know, I've been eyeing those too!

Okay these are so cute!

Actually I think that's my fave

Uh yeah, I think I just picked out the best one

I like the material of this one

Feel it, it feels sturdier

I feel like this might tear

or start to come apart

But let's see

It's in such nice condition though

I'm always curious as to how old they are

I usually hate orange, but I like this orange

It's like a creamsicle kind of?

Yeah... yeah...

The only problem with Japan though...

You guys came at the best time by the way

As soon as it starts to get hot

you can't wear anything more than like a tank top

without dying

So I would only be able to get use out of this

for probably like the next two weeks

I say you get that one

I think I might, if you don't want it

This is exactly what I wanted in Forever 21 the other day

and they were totally letting me down

I found another peach one back here

We're taking a pit stop to take some purikura

because she hasn't taken any yet

which is a used and vintage shop

I've never been in this store

But it looks like they've got some cute pastely things

So let's see what we can find!

We're at a cafe we're taking a break from shopping

And we're gonna get some delicious drinks

This is Bio Ojiyan Cafe

I've come here before, like years ago!

And I told you guys about the matcha marshmallow latte

Which is really delicious

But it looks like they don't do it with soymilk, so I'm not gonna get that this time

But they do have a soy milk hot chocolate

Which I'm gonna try, so I'm gonna get that one

And they also have food here but I'm not really hungry

I think I'm just gonna get the drink

It's really delicious and foamy, I love how foamy it is

Here's Pixie's ichigo milk, but it also has chocolate in it

Next stop was Spinns

which is a really popular fashion store chain

It's mostly new stuff but they do have a small section of used clothing

Our next stop is Used Panama Boy

I've never been in here

This is a new experience for me

But I see lots of pastel

Should we go upstairs or start on the first floor?

Oh my god how about this quilted cat blanket

All right we are finished shopping for the day

We went to lots of stores

But I only ended up finding two things

But they're really cute so I'm happy that I found them

So I'll show you guys what I got first

I did purchase that nightie that I saw in the first secondhand store that we went into

It's this gorgeous see through nightie

Peach colour, like a light peach colour

It was 2990 yen

About $30

And from the same store, I found these...

I'm assuming they're vintage because nobody has made troll goods for years

Vintage party hats with trolls on them

Hopefully you guys can see that, but they're troll party hats

My birthday is coming up and I'm gonna make everybody wear these

Because it's gonna be the best party ever

These were $2, 200 yen

Quite the steal, if I must say myself

Is that everything you got?

Yeah... I just got 2 things today

I'm trying to cut down on the number of things I buy

and just buy things that I know I'll get lots of use out of

Collective haul

We went into Romantic Standard for the first time

I got this really shiny tinsley sort of cardigan

And I love it

Kinda hard to see the colours

It's pastels and gold and cream, it's such a nice mix of colours

It's perfect for you

It was $70-ish Canadian

Worth it!

Forget about that

This is not vintage but we can pretend

I got from Spinns, teeny tiny Spinns bag

I got these, they're like the wide white fishnets

Which are really trendy on the streets right now

And the last thing I got was...

This is beautiful

Dropping my money

This is my favourite purchase of yours I think

I know!

This is also from the same store that Sharla got her items!

The W❤︎C vintage shop on the 2nd floor

Look at it! Look at how pretty it is!

They had an amazing selection of these windbreakers

but this was the best one

Yeah they had so many!

It's like a big ol' juicy rack

It was about $40

3990 yen

BUT it was worth it

Yeah and it was in pretty good condition too

It is, yeah

That's what we found today guys
