  • Tokyo Tuesday.

  • Guys, your regular viewer.

  • Welcome back.

  • Right now, I'm not actually in Tokyo once again in what seems to be a growing Siri's on this channel.

  • I'm about one hour away from Tokyo in an area known as Abu Way have come out into the mountains.

  • I always seem to end up in the mountains and I love every minute of it.

  • And when I say we, I kind of want to explain a little bit about what's going on today.

  • I got invited to this photography group.

  • They just find really neat locations and they go out and do photography.

  • So that's what we're doing right now.

  • This is Jo Jo.

  • So today we're gonna be the frozen waterfall, and I think it's something that's going to be available in winter.

  • So just tell us that's quite the lens you've got there.

  • Yes, muscle And get my head is good, like you don't need to go to the gym.

  • You can judge.

  • I feel like I owe you an apology.

  • Four ways.

  • See, I was overly skeptical, like 10 degrees today.

  • There's not gonna be that much ice, but when I looked right in front of us I never questioned.

  • You are absolutely killing me with this camera placement.

  • So this seems like it's good at a time.

  • And steak couple pictures from the biggest challenge is just not falling in the water.

  • It's just like right there.

  • It is really beautiful when you're right up close.

  • And, yes, I brought coffee.

  • But more importantly than that, I don't know if I can really capture how nice this is and share with you guys.

  • Photos definitely won't do it.

  • I kind of feel like video isn't getting it either.

  • You know what?

  • I've never been one for giving up.

  • I'm not about to start now.

  • They're these moments that I keep trying and failing to capture were one of the icicles.

  • Some things on my island where one of the icicles will break off and fall down and just I miss it every single time.

  • There's no way to accurately capture this.

  • Get any decent pictures yet?

  • Yes.

  • Yes, yes, yes.

  • But as you say, like beer, eyes Much, much more beautiful.

  • Yeah, Yeah.

  • All right.

  • So we're wrapping up here, and amazingly, for as beautiful as this is, apparently it lights up at night, which obviously is even more beautiful.

  • You can see the lights all around there.

  • If you do choose, come out here though a little bit of a pro tip, I would recommend coming out early.

  • It's around noon now, and the place has started to get fairly crowded.

  • Love more, Chief.

  • No, you're doing fight.

  • So where we going next?

  • Dozo which write something?

  • Ginger?

  • It was a sign for the train.

  • Also worth noting that there are like 10 buses in a day.

  • Mind you, if you really want to enjoy the area of Chichibu itself, I highly recommend coming out by car.

  • Just keep in mind that in the winter you might find yourself with icy roads and it might be dangerous.

  • It's actually at this point that I realized that I didn't tell you where we were before.

  • Measles Zucchino.

  • Also, I'm really confused by this little bench here in the stairwell that leads to nowhere.

  • Like it seems like a great picnic table area.

  • But there's no way to get there on we're gonna do London shouldn't eating now, So I'm gonna do this.

  • So this particular shrine is called meat zoom in a shrine and actually one of the things that I like the most about this moment that I want to share with you guys, just the fact that it's a place here in Japan that I've never been.

  • And I love having that opportunity to explore something for the very, very first time.

  • You get a a little bit of excitement in your chest, you don't know what's up around the corner.

  • I literally have no idea what is around this corner up here, and I kind of love that.

  • But you can see this shrine through the trees and it's beautiful.

  • Let me show you.

  • We come to a bit of a fork in the road, splits off this way and this way, really wondering what's up there.

  • But everybody else went this way, and I don't want to lose the group.

  • Interesting fact to share about shrines and whatnot.

  • So they say that you shouldn't actually walk directly through the middle because because that's for the deity.

  • But you should walk off to the side as you're going into a shrine.

  • Wow, this is beautiful.

  • See, this is what I'm talking about, the excitement like, I have no idea what's up that hill I have no idea what's going to be going on as we go down here.

  • This is an absolute first for me.

  • There's something about this area that kind of reminds me of Mt.

  • Takao, but there's also something very unique about this particular shrine and mountain itself.

  • I've been out to the area of Cici Boo countless times.

  • In fact, when I used to do like driving in car stuff, we come out to cheat to boot drive up into the mountains to get you don.

  • But I've never been here in particular.

  • Look at that creepy, mysterious forest because the water's frozen.

  • We have to purify ourselves in a different way.

  • But one of the things I love about this is the intricate detail and design on this shrine.

  • Let me show you.

  • I just called word that they're like cooking something over here You don't know.

  • So what they're doing right now is they're prepping beans, soybeans for what's called Mom a mucky.

  • You see, during this time of Japan, you may or may not know they have little kids throw beans that ogres or onis representative like getting rid of bad spirits and everything like that and I feel like that was a pretty terrible explanation, but I'm sure you get it.

  • That's what the smell is really nice.

  • Got a kind of sweet smell, almost like like peanut butter, freshly cooked peanut butter.

  • Do you could peanut butter because you put peanut butter on toast.

  • It smells nice everywhere you land in this, trying to keeps forking off in different directions, like was a hiking trail up here and everything.

  • This particular shrine has 100% made its my recommendation list if you were coming out here especially especially if you're renting a car and you're looking for adventure outside of Tokyo again, this is not that far from Tokyo were like roughly an hour by train or car.

  • So again, I'm gonna add this place linked down below, because I know I personally will be coming back here.

  • In some point.

  • I just shared with everybody like my new favorite app.

  • If you have a portrait mode on your phone and you want to have a little more control over, like the depth of field in the background color, does this apple focus and Bo CEO s like everyone's downloading it, having a ton of fun with it right now.

  • Because really me, you and right back where we started the day.

  • If you enjoyed this one, do all the usual stuff.

  • Give that like buttons and love.

  • Leave me something in the comments below.

  • You guys know I'm going to be hanging out down there with you for a while.

  • This is officially going to be added to our like one hour from Tokyo Siri's.

  • So I've also created a playlist for that.

  • In case you're not familiar with the other videos, check them out.

  • Leave me some comments on those and you guys know I will see you again real soon.
