  • Oh, what an exciting show it's going to be.

  • And it's an exciting time of year, really.

  • It's the beginning-- it feels like the holidays already.

  • I mean, some people start real early.

  • But for me, it's just starting.

  • I got a tree, and I started listening to Christmas music.

  • I hired a realtor to help me buy a gingerbread house.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • And I feel good around the holidays, really,

  • because I get to give all of you gifts.

  • That's what makes me happy.

  • [CHEERING AND APPLAUDING]

  • Because it feels good to give gifts.

  • And this year, I'm giving even more gifts to more people

  • with my brand new Primetime show.

  • It's called Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways.

  • And what we did is we kind of disguised the studio.

  • They knew they were coming here, but we disguised it,

  • and they didn't know what they were coming for.

  • And then, we surprised them.

  • And this is a little bit of what you're going to see.

  • And this is what they saw.

  • [MUSIC PLAYING]

  • We do things for people on a daily basis on the talk show.

  • We want to do something similar to that, but bigger and better.

  • It's time for my greatest night of giveaways.

  • [CHEERING]

  • When some of my celebrity friends

  • heard what we were doing, they wanted to be in on it, too.

  • So you'll see Justin Timberlake.

  • You'll see Jason Momoa.

  • You'll see Chrissy Teigen, Jen Aniston, Sterling K. Brown,

  • Robert Downey, Jr., Ayesha and Steph Curry, Michael B. Jordan,

  • Melissa McCarthy, Michelle Obama.

  • Obama!

  • It's not enough to go through life just working for yourself.

  • You've got to reach back and lift others along the way.

  • We wanted to change people's lives in a bigger way

  • than we ever possibly imagined.

  • And we wanted people to get in the spirit of giving and seeing

  • that sometimes your life isn't as bad when

  • you see other people's lives and what they're going through.

  • My dad just lost his job.

  • My mom passed away when I was three to sarcoma cancer.

  • What Ellen is greatest at is sharing these stories

  • and making them known to the world,

  • and then giving thanks to these incredible people.

  • It's your mortgage.

  • What I want to do to that is just tear that up.

  • [MUSIC PLAYING]

  • What kind of maniac wouldn't want to be part of this show?

  • Honestly, I would have been excited to just

  • be in the audience.

  • [CHEERING]

  • You're going to hit all of the emotions.

  • I know I did.

  • Expect a lot of laughter, of course.

  • Can you hear me?

  • No.

  • No?

  • OK.

  • A lot of tears because it's an emotional moment for everybody.

  • You'll cry, but you'll also feel really good about what

  • we're doing for people.

  • This is like This Is Us, but they don't give you prizes.

  • Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways?

  • Have the tissues ready.

  • There's going to be some booing and some hooing.

  • But it's going to be good.

  • [CHEERING AND APPLAUDING]

  • I really am so proud of the show.

  • I can't wait for everybody to see it.

  • It's called Ellen's Greatest Night of Giveaways.

  • It starts next Tuesday on NBC.

  • It's three nights.

Oh, what an exciting show it's going to be.
