Tim Legler here Fun night as we get a chance to take inventory around the league of a bunch of different teams, and I'm always interested in your initial impressions.

And here's what that length does that this guy is six foot five and he's a defense of specialist.

He's got a 71 wing span, so they put him on a guy like Kemba Walker and no, Typically, Kim is going to use this screen, and he loves this little step back dribble right there.

The problem on this is with the length, if it be, just stays up.

Both the fouling, which is what the Sixers wondered doing these plays.

So cameras going to see that as he comes off, he's looking right, act big man and beat and knows that he's to close.

The other factor right now is Bible closing on the shooting side.

You've got Simmons at 6 10 and beat it 71 Horford's not a small boy back there in a paint, and you've also got Tobias Harris.

They could do things defensively than most teams can.

And look, this was a shootout this 1st 2 nights across the league.

Not that Boston had a really difficult time getting clean looks and Camel Walker.

Not the kind of start he wanted with Boston.

And I'm frankly tired of hearing about him shooting threes.

What impresses you about where his game is evolving?

He he owned it and said, Listen, I'm not there yet, my jump shot, But I do things on this court that it pretty powerful for this team for me, the way he played tonight, taking 16 shots from Brett Brown to get the statue.

16 field goal attempt, all of them in the paint.

The fact that he got downhill 16 times and was that aggressive looking to be a finisher One of my big problems, Ben Simmons in the past has been he pre meditates, making plays for other people.

He's turning the corner, your 6 10 1 more strider at the rim, and I get frustrated as his head would get on a swivel, trying to find someone to make a play for.

When he gets down Hill and extends to get to the basket toe finish, it adds another element to their offense.

Jail, we hope, is better for the line this year.

Let's hope he's not gonna make any threes this year.

Forget what happened to pre season but the 16 shots on the night when other guys didn't really have it going.

He was head and shoulders the best player on the floor tonight, and that's a great sign for breath Brown.

Last year I felt like people knew Pasquale Siachen was improving, but you came out and you're like, Look, this dude, it could be a star and he just got paid like one.

So I feel like you were ahead of the curve.

Who's the next Pascal c out when I'm asking you a name of a player to keep an eye on that have to be a rookie.

Could be a guy who's been whatever it ISS, somebody you think could take a step forward to the point that everybody out there recognizes that this is a different type of player.

Yeah, looked getting out to go from a role player to an All Star in the second half of that same season.

But the guy I look at and I saw him tonight and he really looked active and played well, Bam!

His activity level is off the charts, and you're going to see a guy that played about 18 20 minutes a game last year after seven point game, he's gonna be a double double machine this year.

He's a guy because of his relentless energy.

He's going to get 10 rebounds in his sleep.

You get put backs, get some pick and dives.

He's gonna have some 20 and 18 type of stat lines this year.

So from a production standpoint, opportunity standpoint and being on the relevant teams, I think he'd have a great shot to make the playoffs.

I would look at the issue to take a hugely Ford.
