Maybe compared to last year, the vibe has been great pre season.

It has been really good.

We got a lot of new guys, a lot of new faces.

So I miss that different environment.

Different team.

But I'm everybody's excited.

We got a lot of new young guys, so they're excited to be here.

We've got new guys and free agents like Kimberly and is, and then guys like myself and J b not other guys excited to get back.

So what has been has been great and everybody's getting along really well.

God, that you share the locker room with for a couple of years is gonna be wearing the Philadelphia 76 uniforms tonight.

What you gonna be thinking at the opening tip tonight when Al walks out there and you walk out there and he's wearing Sixers jersey?

What's that gonna feel like?

It's gonna be different, you know, I love I love playing with how he he's a great player.

He's been a great player for a long time.

We've been through some tough battles together, so I'm definitely gonna miss him.

But once the game starts way can't be friends.

What was your reaction like when you heard that he was going to 70 Sixers arrival?

At that time?

I wasn't I wasn't surprised I wasn't mad at him.

I think people should do what makes them happy.

You know, I was definitely earned the right to do that.

So you know the best decision for him and his family, and, uh, rightfully so he got paid a lot of money, so I can't be mad at that.

Let's talk about you a little bit here last year after, like, 16 a game, 50.8 37% on threes.

Yet miraculously, in some people's opinion, it wasn't what they expected.

You took a step back.

What are your thoughts on that?

And what are you looking to improve on this year?

I mean, that means people think highly of me and they expect a lot, you know, which I expect a lot out of myself on.

And that's why I'm even more excited for this season.

Just get last year behind us individually and as a team, you know, didn't necessarily go the way that you know myself.

Anybody else expected?

So this is a new year.

New opportunity.

More three pointers.

More free throws for you this year.

Yeah, just being more aggressive.

Tell me about your USA basketball experience and what that did for you have benefited.

I think I benefitted a lot from USA Basketball.

It was a great opportunity to go out there.

We didn't.

We didn't win the gold medal, and I only played two games after getting injured.

But just being out there, being competing with those guys every day in practice and getting to learn and play for Coach Pop was tremendous for me.

I love pop.

I text him when I got back.

Just think for opportunity, because that's once in a lifetime thing, and it really helped me and help.

I feel like it helped me grow as a player in that short time.

I got to be around with What's your favorite Gregg Popovich story coming from this summer over in China?

Australia?

A favorite favorite story.

I wish I was.

Jeff was here.

Jeff was on a trip with us, so he likes to drink.

Why, okay, and, uh, he's like he gets a little animated.

Did you let you choose the wine at any dinners?

Because that's a big honor right here.

And I'm not really a wine guy, so I sampled a little bit, but I like lemonade.

What was what was it like getting a chance to play with Marcus Smart, Jayson Tatum.

Uh uh.

Pardon me, Dylan Brown and, uh, Kimble and being able to maybe get ahead of the curve in terms of chemistry.

It was great.

I think that kind of helped us have a really good preseason training camp.

Just that extra experience in the summer time.

Playing with those guys already play with they being smart.

But for all of us to be together with timbers and teammate, I think you help the transition.

Coming into training can go a lot smoother this year.

You guys won 49 games, but you get to the second round, you run out of gas.

What?

What do we expect?

Since everybody's still picking you guys to come in third, is there going to be a change of style of play because you have so so many new people Or do you wanna play exactly the same way off is definitely gonna be different in the aspect that we have a new team and I think we're going toe where?

I mean, it's no secret or smaller than we when we were the last two years, and we have some smaller lineups out there on the floor.

So we're gonna have toe play faster and be much more of a better defensive team.

I mean, we were a great defensive team will last two years, but that's what we really gotta hang our hat on this season if we want to be successful and rebound as a unit because we were just about the biggest thing.

Now do we see you on Brown become more involved offensively like shot attempts, etcetera, and especially when you get down into the fourth quarter inside six minutes?

Yeah, uh, for its early, very early went out for myself and J B.

Um, you know, we just got to keep, continue to grow and get better, and except bigger, bigger rose.

As we get ODed and more years.

And under our building, there are career and you know, he's definitely worked hard, and I have to.

So we're ready for the challenge.
