All I'm asking you to do is to understand that your argument that might be the argument of some white people.

This black man right here and most black folks that I speak to, We're not talking about four i entertainment.

We're talking about reality in the business climate that you're living in and the ripple effect that it can have on your community.

Let me go a step further and please put me up on that split screen so I can see J and Max.

While I'm saying this, for example, black folks lament all the time we went, we totally support protests were protesters.

But when you write, particularly in your old community in the past, I'm talking about why is that something that we've lamented because when the fire stops burning and the damage has been done and you've done it in your own community, where do you go from there?

The Detroit riots, for example, in 1967 they still have never fully recovered from that.

How they ravage their own community at that particular moment in time I only bring that to say this in this regard and only bring it up to say this in this regard.

You're talking about the collateral effect that it has on people, the sport employees on people in local economies who feed off of that.

The fact is, did something like that cancelling the N B a season?

It's not just going to affect the players, it's going to affect thousands upon thousands of people, millions of civilians would economies, and that's gonna have a ripple effect.

You can't ignore that because that's gonna affect I obviously just not about games.

Okay, let me be very clear about that off the time that saying that support that rioting in their own communities.

Black people don't own those communities.

They don't own those communities and and and those in and this culture has been rioting against black people for hundreds of years after my point, So it's just interesting, but they're not the property they're destroying.

So that's why I said, it's not like the idea that, well, this is counterproductive.

It maybe in certain ways it is in certain ways not.

Maybe it is in certain ways and it's a bad and you know better not to riot.

However, it's not in all the ways that's presented in the media.

People don't only way cry only brought in.

Those same places have righted since the dawn of this country.

I only brought it up from the past because metaphorically, I'm trying to transition to today's day and age to talk about collateral damage, needing to be taken into consideration.

It's about something for more profound in that.

And you have to take all of those things into consideration before you make the decision, as opposed to just making a blanket statement.

Oh, the racism and the racial oppression.

That's why I'm not going to go back to work.

But simple, that's all way quickly before it goes ahead, because I want to clarify one thing as far as when we're talking about people riding black people and the white people owning the property.

It's not just black people riding its people of all races.

So I want to make that clear and a good seven.

We can't We can't blame the ales of Detroit in the city of Detroit, where I spend a lot of time just on those riots.

There's a lot of other factors that have contributed trust in just that moment in history.

And I just want to be clear in all those factors.

One of things I want to say very quickly, as it relates to you know, a lot of the things I wish that if you know, a lot of times what happens and look like I had a situation happening.

Because when I came back on TV, I would have actionable items that I can address the public with about.

Whether you want to believe in HR 40 and reparation that.

But my thing is, instead of just I wish what would what came out of this whole conversation between Kyrie and Dwight?

If you're gonna make these statements if they're going to get out What are actionable items?

Max, What are you asking for by saying, Hey, I don't want to serve his entertainment.

And then here is what we need to get out before we can come back on the court.

It can't just be a blanket statement that says, Hey, until things change your black people, we don't want to play.

You need to tell me exactly what you need and that's somewhat of a May not know Jenny will just j I hear what you're saying.

I know, but that's a yeah, that's a problem, no matter what you say.

But what may be more lying to say it what?

What it may be more like is I don't know exactly what we want, but I know right now it doesn't feel right to go back with everything that's going on.

It doesn't feel right to serve as distraction at this moment, Stephen.

When other leagues come back, they're gonna be distractions as well, right?

So there's gonna be a slew of distractions and you have other leagues that are coming back.

So my thing is, why not utilize that platform to every maybe every answer that the media asked You Don't answer the question.

You answer questions in ways that pushed the agenda that you're pushing for.

You have time to think through what legislation is J answer every question.

That way, there's you can do your job and be militant at the same time.

Ultimately, we're on the same side of this issue.

In fact, my point is, I think Kyrie and Dwight Howard have a legitimate point of view.

Where I come down on this side and Stephen A.

That's what you and I were arguing about.

You were emphatically that they were wrong and I believe that your right, in fact, that they should come back and play.

But I think it is a difficult decision and they have a legitimate point of view.

All I would ask is that everybody doesn't take every sentence, you know, because we don't have time.

Don't take everything that I said literally like, for example, when I'm talking about the rise in Detroit off course, there's a multitude of things that contributed to that.
