We're talking about reality in the business climate that you're living in and the ripple effect that it can have on your community.

While I'm saying this, for example, black folks lament all the time we went, we totally support protests were protesters.

We got a lot to protest about.

But when you write, particularly in your old community in the past, I'm talking about why is that something that we've lamented because when the fire stops burning and the damage has been done and you've done it in your own community, where do you go from there?

The Detroit riots, for example, in 1967 they still have never fully recovered from that.

How they ravage their own community at that particular moment in time I only bring that to say this in this regard and only bring it up to say this in this regard.

You're talking about the collateral effect that it has on people, the sport employees on people in local economies who feed off of that.

The fact is, did something like that cancelling the N B a season?

It's not just going to affect the players, it's going to affect thousands upon thousands of people, millions of civilians would economies, and that's gonna have a ripple effect.

You can't ignore that because that's gonna affect I obviously just not about games.

It's better not to riot.

Okay, let me be very clear about that off the time that saying that support that rioting in their own communities.

Black people don't own those communities.

They don't own those communities and and and those in and this culture has been rioting against black people for hundreds of years after my point, So it's just interesting, but they're not the property they're destroying.

It is not their own.

So that's why I said, it's not like the idea that, well, this is counterproductive.

It maybe in certain ways it is in certain ways not.

Maybe it is in certain ways and it's a bad and you know better not to riot.

However, it's not in all the ways that's presented in the media.

It's simply not black.

People don't only way cry only brought in.

Those same places have righted since the dawn of this country.

I only brought it up from the past because metaphorically, I'm trying to transition to today's day and age to talk about collateral damage, needing to be taken into consideration.

It's not about the games.

It's about something for more profound in that.

And you have to take all of those things into consideration before you make the decision, as opposed to just making a blanket statement.

It's not just black people riding its people of all races.

What it may be more like is I don't know exactly what we want, but I know right now it doesn't feel right to go back with everything that's going on.

When other leagues come back, they're gonna be distractions as well, right?

So there's gonna be a slew of distractions and you have other leagues that are coming back.

So my thing is, why not utilize that platform to every maybe every answer that the media asked You Don't answer the question.

Or maybe you say Trayvon, Martin.

Maybe you save Rashaw Brooks.

You answer questions in ways that pushed the agenda that you're pushing for.

You have time to think through what legislation is J answer every question.

That way, there's you can do your job and be militant at the same time.

Ultimately, we're on the same side of this issue.

In fact, my point is, I think Kyrie and Dwight Howard have a legitimate point of view.

And it's not an easy answer.

You were emphatically that they were wrong and I believe that your right, in fact, that they should come back and play.

But I think it is a difficult decision and they have a legitimate point of view.

All I would ask is that everybody doesn't take every sentence, you know, because we don't have time.

Don't take everything that I said literally like, for example, when I'm talking about the rise in Detroit off course, there's a multitude of things that contributed to that.

I know that white folks were out there protesting and riding to that.

It wasn't just black folks, but ultimately what it comes down to is that no matter what they do, they get to go back into their own neighborhoods into the same society and live at an advantage.
