  • Lucid.

  • So we're seeing is a complicated character.

  • I usually start by drawing a circle for her head.

  • Just make a loose light circle, and then neck is like right here.

  • And then Her body is a little triangle.

  • She's wearing a dress, so visualize a dress with a skirt, a little triangle with a little skirt.

  • This is the shoulder.

  • She has these puffy sleeved dresses that she likes to wear, then legs with socks.

  • And can they have big feet?

  • They have short arms and big feet for their sides.

  • My dad would say they have a good foundation.

  • I'm gonna Ruffin, where her arm goes in this pose.

  • She's gonna be kind of maybe, she stressed out.

  • Maybe she's a little annoyed, as Lucy is trying to be, So she's making kind of a fist.

  • Is your back on now the Van Pelt's If you make a circle for their head, the Van Pelt's all have this interesting little forehead invention, like right about here that comes in like a little half.

  • See?

  • Right there.

  • So we're gonna follow that.

  • We're gonna make her cheek come down and around.

  • Things were back here.

  • Yes, that's it.

  • So see what you're doing.

  • You're making light shapes and you're going back in with darker ones.

  • So Lucy has a lot going on with her hair.

  • Also, she's got this circle front in this sort of like part that comes out here.

  • She's basically got three circles.

  • There's 12 three and 1/4 1 for sort of the side of her hair.

  • And in the top of her hair, this is the top of her head.

  • Her hair comes up above her head a little bit.

  • Makes a little arch like that.

  • She got one other curl back here, has a little wild here that comes out, got one more on this side and her back years right there.

  • If he did the line sort of like this across your face.

  • Slight art line from the bottom of her ears to the body.

  • Other here.

  • Right about where her has sits.

  • Right about there.

  • Let's go back to the body.

  • Gonna do her neck.

  • She got a little shadow.

  • He has this big head.

  • Um, she's got a nice little caller to her dress.

  • This is the part of her front dress.

  • He sleeps, has a little detail right there.

  • Fingers, a little fist.

  • Are you out of your mind where you're trying todo disgrace?

  • Our family has this nice little details on the farmer dress here.

  • Baxley legs, socks.

  • Lucy always wears saddle Oxfords, everything.

  • Know what those are there?

  • They're white shoes that have, like, black right here.

  • She always wears the same shoes.

  • OK, now we're gonna go back to her hair because she doesn't look quite right into your darkened in her hair.

  • So we're gonna dark in this line and dark in this line, dark in this perkiness American.

  • This top one and she always show it's always left.

  • A nice little highlight, the top of her hair, Um, the edge of the black like a start.

  • So what were you saying?

  • Well, what kind of mood This is, Lucy, And let's see, I think this sort of and helps always have these funny little parentheses around their eyes to.
