I'm gonna make some salsa that reminds me of California.

Welcome to day four of the Wuhan quarantine.

We talked to a doctor in the United States

and he had two really important things to tell us.

First of all, the virus is not independent from the carrier,

which means that as long you're not sharing food

or sneezing on people, you'll probably be okay.

It doesn't wanna kill us, it wants to live inside of us.

that does not mean that you're going to have SARI,

The virus can heal itself if it's only a small infection.

So, I've been doing some research about Wuhan

because there's more to the area than just the virus.

and it's divided into three separate towns.

which is where the virus actually started

And the final one, where I live, is Hanyang,

and there's over 160 lakes in Wuhan alone

So, we're staying inside for the next two weeks,

I just wanted to say that everybody's scared of the virus.

Everybody here is doing what they can to protect themselves

Our neighbor is a doctor and he's been bringing us food,

and everyone, as I can tell, is staying inside.

I'm in the lobby of my apartment right now,

this is the lady that works at the front desk

I've been through a lot of stuff in my life,

I went through the swine flu scare in my elementary school

and in Northern California, during college,

I just wanted to say that I came to China

not only to teach but also to learn about the culture,

when everybody's freaking out about a virus.

There's another plane that's going back to America

because I'd rather be in my apartment alone

Today is beautiful and sunny compared to the rain yesterday,

which is in the same apartment complex as my apartment

We've been offering free classes to our students

so that they keep learning pronunciation and public speech.

And another thing that's super duper cool

there's a brand new hospital that Wuhan built.

It seats 1,000 people and it's just about two lakes away.

(speaking in foreign language) means big baby

Everybody have a wonderful day, stay safe and (blows kiss).

so we're supposed to be eating mochi soup

but I decided to make scrambled eggs instead.
