Past simple

my love for the countryside started when I was a young child speaking no Japanese.

I went to a small town in Japan for high school exchange, and I was welcomed so warmly by the locals.

10 years I've traveled to 43 out of 47 pre fictions in Japan to share the listen known areas with people from all around the world and to encourage you guys to travel deeper.

However, after visiting so many of thes prefectures and seeing the decrease in population, the number off empty houses, schools and facilities just broke my heart.

I thought to myself, There must be a way for all of these to be reused again to bring back opportunity to the countryside.

So now I've combined everything at acting like a school.

It's a place for people to experience the untouched really Japan.

A place to learn the language not only in the classrooms but in the everyday life and most importantly, a place where they can call it the second home and be a part of the community.

So join me and the first group of students on this new adventure.

And now today is a day where everything comes alive and kicking in the course.

Welcome Way had a lot of Africans, but I interviewed the ones that application for lead to a self.

But I picked a lovely for 24 people from all around the world, the youngest student of 17 and older.

I think it's gonna be a really cool a student.

I want to learn more about Japanese in particular to food culture, because I do work with nutrition and kids.

Back in my home country, I have always wanted to be fluent in another language.

And a bigger like shoot has, uh, ready to learn again.

The major in university is linguistics and translation.

That's like a big chance for me to get some new skills.

A lot of people it's been so easy every time I've been here three times on vacation, about 10 times for work.

It's so easy to get by in the cities without having to know any Japanese, and I kind of have an ethical problem with them.

I don't want to be able Teoh, understand it better and communicate directly with people instead of having to throw out now, you know, try to piece together conversation.

I came because I really wanted to make us.

The last couple years, I've really been all the best, and I really want to do something different here.

You see the Japanese people looking at you.

Some give you funny looks, but I think they think the same is what I do.

I'd like to communicate to that person, and that's what it's all about.

Learn a bit more, a little bit here and there.

I know it's a pretty big job, but I want to get there.

When this came up and I saw the video that you made this course, I thought, Wow, you know, that's for me, that that's amazing.

That's exactly what I want to come and do it the way she carries itself.

We know video in a few years, and she has on also respect for the culture and the way she blends, blends in, just gets in.

And you know, if there's a bit of that in the course, that's of course I want to come.

And I'm looking forward to spending this time with your years.

We wanted Teoh travel to Japan and learn Japanese where 31 We started with 18 trying to learn Japanese on our own with books, and we would always fail over and over.

It was just that was exactly what we were looking not only a way to learn Japanese and meet new people and experience new things, but in the most awesome location, this program is already we haven't even started yet.

So I got here and I don't think I'll stop smiling for at least another month that you just feel like this was like it was a really passionate approach to learning.

Visitors gag, but it's the people, the memories you have of the people, the connection, the relationships you make.

 So I really hope throughout school students can be a part of the community and really understand, and I don't oh.
