  • So you asked.

  • It's a lot of questions on the channel on.

  • We figured it was time to answer them about damn time.

  • All right?

  • Yeah.

  • Right.

  • So the most frequently asked question.

  • Is that top one there?

  • Yeah.

  • Okay.

  • What is it?

  • It's Ah.

  • What software do you, Hughes, To make this slow motion.

  • That's a very easy question to answer.

  • None were easily.

  • Software is all done in camera.

  • All right, What kind of these way?

  • Use a phantom flex, which is this.

  • And it shoots at 2500 frames per second in well, h d meaty goodness.

  • So how's that costume?

  • Well, I wouldn't say the exact price, but let's say you could get a very lovely Aston Martin DBS nine for the cost of that.

  • How you for that?

  • Well, I don't, but I do work with these cameras.

  • We've got two of them and we work on, like music videos and commercials and movies and stuff like that.

  • Obviously, when we're not working, might as well come out of its limit.

  • Guys whip about What do you use to edit edit videos together?

  • All the slammer goes upstairs, and it's not a Mac pro on using final cut.

  • This is an average timeline for one of the videos.

  • You could see this quite a lot of sound here because the camera doesn't actually record any sound at all.

  • So I have to take it from the real time footage or just add sound effects.

  • Do you need a lot of hard drives?

  • Let's see.

  • Two.

  • It's 2 40 What's in there?

  • 15.

  • Yes.

  • Yes, you do?

  • Yes.

  • Okay, this thing, what it's going for Speed will shoot eight gigs per second, which really, really tears through.

  • The hard drive is best.

  • The actual camera reports on two these things, which is very high speed flash storage, and I just click on there.

  • What would you say?

  • The biggest.

  • The biggest request has been for us to film people.

  • Guns, table guns.

  • Yeah, surprising.

  • I didn't think.

  • Yeah, many people to see people that, but I'm sure we can get hold of papal gun.

  • And Yes, Mr Deacon.

  • Send requests.

  • Yeah, type what you want us to film will probably get around to doing it, and we can do ridiculous question.

  • Answer.

  • It is.

  • Well, that's a stupid question, but yeah, let's take a papal to be topless.

  • I imagine so.

  • Yeah.

  • The audience would dig that.

  • Yeah, partly on Drew.

  • You've been named and shamed.

  • Now, this is something that many people get confused about is why it's called a high speed camera.

  • But it's actually filming in slow motion.

  • So, Dan, taken away with the extremely science E and nerdy answer.

  • Good.

  • All right.

  • You get a normal camera, It takes a certain amount of frames per second.

  • For instance, you got 25 frames a second, which means that something that's happening a very high speed, like my hand in that.

  • Okay, then if you had a camera, that yes, pretty far.

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah, the camera that said, say 25 frames a second.

  • You get one frame here, one from here, one from here, so you would only see three images.

  • But with the high speed camera, it takes a lot of frames per second on.

  • That means that you get many more friends like this.

  • And so you get to see it much clearer on that's how you get the slow motion because you get a more solid movement.

  • Obviously, when you've got 25 frames, you take in a picture every 25th of a second.

  • If you got something that's moving faster than that, you need more frames in between.

  • Which is why, if I take 2500 frames in a second and then play it back 25 frames, it would last 100 seconds instead of one second.

  • And that's why high speed is slow motion.

  • Another very frequent else.

  • Question.

  • What music do you use over the slow mo bits?

  • Yeah, everyone, that's the most commonality.

  • Ask.

  • I don't want it to be silent in the slammer bits because you can put sound effect in.

  • But there might be a big gap between that and the next sound effects.

  • So I was trying to find some sort of a bit of a mesmerizing sound, yet don't wander.

  • It was actually just some random sound effect that comes with I life on the Mac.

  • You get that big sound effects for from my movie and stuff, and I think what it is.

  • It's like a little course of people going, uh, and I just slide it down.

  • So it's like, Yeah, it's called synthetic design to From this sound effect, fold and it Sounds like what?

  • Slow down.

  • It sounds like this.

  • Why do you run away?

  • Sometimes after doing some clips.

  • I mean, so is first that you hit him in the face of the football and then ran away.

  • Why?

  • I was scared that you hit me.

  • No, not true.

  • People have actually noticed.

  • I sort of run away after the event happens.

  • It's not scared because this camera actually records backwards in time.

  • So what?

  • Actually going to stop in the camera?

  • And then it saves the previous four seconds of time on basics.

  • Maybe just pressing record.

  • Uh huh.

  • Is Lloyd the cat de clawed?

  • No, we don't be cool cats.

  • I'm not sure.

  • So So people are interested.

  • Is that humans getting their nails removed completely or something?

  • I think I remember Knuckles.

  • Yeah, it's very much frowned upon in the UK, so you know it's a cap.

  • Of course.

  • That's the Scots.

  • All you got from your city.

  • Yes.

  • Yes, I am.

  • Yeah, it's a breakfast.

  • Yes, I love it.

  • Hey, I just had this really weird conversation with God.

  • Yeah, it's probably hitting on.

  • You.

  • Wouldn't be offended by that was about to happen.

  • Eventually So why the hell do people keep mentioning headlight fluid in your comments?

  • It's kind of a kind of touchy subject.

  • I'm just going to say, Listen to the drunk Tank.

  • It's the recent podcasts you find on iTunes.

  • It's amazing.

  • I used to be on it.

  • Why are some videos slower than others?

  • You know we have this ass because there's some where we shot 1000 frames like the light bulb smashing on that one issue that bit slow.

  • It would've been nice to see a bit more detail, and that's because we don't have this camera that was actually shot on the Phantom HD gold.

  • And this is the Phantom Flex.

  • So basically all of these videos were shot on the previous camera.

  • Yeah, well, the others were shot with this.

  • Basically, if you love the resolution of these cameras, so it's taking a smaller image, it could take more every second.

  • So that's 7 20 p could do 5000 on Dhe.

  • If you learn all the way down to something like a postage stamp, size will do 280,000 frames a second.

  • At that point, you're slowing one second down to a few hours, which is extremely slow.

  • Yeah.

  • Do you guys play video games?

  • No.

  • Never.

  • Hey, geeks.

  • What's your game attack?

  • It must be rights.

  • That's pretty much all the questions that I've selected.

  • You can obviously keep asking more, but they're the main ones that we want to know.

  • Pretty shuttling, I thought.

  • General idea.

  • All right, Q.

  • Thank video game.

  • That's good.

So you asked.
