It also happens to be Amazon's choice for a weatherproof lockbox.

It's made by a company called Juan Lang, and I should start by noting that despite this being advertised as waterproof, I see no gaskets or seals or any other indication that this was designed to resist moisture.

But the more troubling aspect to me is the abysmal level of security that it provides.

We look at the front, we can see there are two different ways of unlocking this.

The first is entering the correct code, which is currently all zeros and then turning this knob.

The second is using a key.

Unfortunately, the key lock is a way for design of exceptionally poor quality.

In fact, it is so bad that I was able to jiggle it open, using the same pocket knife that I used to open the Amazon package that it came in.

In fact, it might be faster to open this box than it is to open the packaging.

Let's test that out right now.

Just that quickly, we got it open.

Let's do that a few more times.

So you know, that was not a fluke and one last time.

OK, folks, I think it's pretty obvious that this is not a product that you want to use to protect your keys.
