Anthony Fauci says the Corona Virus Task Force and CDC are discussing whether to recommend that everyone where a mask win in a public space.

It's been a debate ever since the pandemic began.

The debate was ignited after President Trump said he might consider recommending that all Americans wear a mask.

We'll take a look at it for a period of time, not forever.

We're not gonna be wearing masks forever, but it could be for a short period of time.

But now the CDC is considering changing its guidelines to encourage all Americans to wear a mask.

The idea of getting a much more broad community wide use of masks outside of the health care setting is under very active discussion at the task force.

The CDC group is looking at that very carefully.

The thing that has inhibited that bit is to make sure that we don't take away the supply of masks from the health care workers who need them.

But Dr Oz is skeptical about everyone wearing masks.

The president said every American may be asked to wear a mask.

If you're sick, you should wear some type of face covering, and that's not To protect you is to protect people around you.

But if you're otherwise doing well and you're socially distancing appropriately, the benefit of wearing a mask is unclear to me.

In park your futzing with the mask all the times you might actually contaminate yourself.

But even more importantly, I don't want you to feel like you're completely protected, so you start to get sloppy about social distance because these masks that are available anyway, right now aren't gonna be able to protect you like the n 95 that doctors and nurses wear other TV Doctors also have their doubts, their eyes or another way the virus can get in.

So without eye shields, they're not getting all the protection they need to get.

Might give them a false sense of security so it might get inside.

 That six foot bubble does not give you any more protection in washing your hands and definitely keeping that six foot distance.
