  • This is the lock picking lawyer, and I'm back in the Red Team alliance training facility with deviant Olaf and we are continuing our series of videos on ways to bypass this door and how you can harden your doors against these types of attacks.

  • So, Dave, we did the top of the door.

  • We did the bottom of the door.

  • Which side do you go in for this time?

  • Gotta be the latch latch side when you got me.

  • Do always What is that tool traveler, huh?

  • So kind of region here.

  • Okay, that was way too fast.

  • I blinked and messed it.

  • You're going to show me that again?

  • All right?

  • Now, the more astute viewers on your channel will notice that a lot of things are kind of wrong here.

  • This, this clearly is an environment where it looks like they're either migrating to electronic locks or they're migrating away from a larger enterprise system.

  • At some point, somebody had replaced this strike flee, making this even easier for us to demo for you.

  • But in many environments, including modern deployments right now, with electronic strikes, you can still get enough room to reach in there with your traveler hook, rotate around and get this latch moving out of the way.

  • Okay, so how do we prevent that from happening?

  • Simple.

  • A solution.

  • Used the correct strike hardware.

  • Right now it's completely missing.

  • I guarantee you come back in a week.

  • If this is all ripped out and you see a card reader up here and they replaced it with something else, it still might not be the right strike plate hardware.

  • You have to be a tight enough fit so that that guard bolt is not extended when the door shuts into the frame.

  • That's how a dead latch will properly engage and prevent this kind of nonsense.

  • Okay, folks, if you'd like to learn more about covert entry methods like this one, as well as ways that you can harden your doors against them, head on over to red team alliance dot com for their training schedule.

  • In any case, that's all I have for you today.

  • If you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below you like this video and would like to see more like it.

  • And, as always, have a nice day.

  • Thank you.
