These locks appear to have been marketed as a stylish option, being made in five different colors.

This is obviously the blue one, but there were also red, yellow, white and black versions.

The construction is fairly solid, with a roughly 2.5 millimeter thick grip steel lock body in a 10 millimeter thick steel shackle, and that shackle is held closed with a non schimmel mechanism.

The court is a way for design that actually gave me a bit of trouble the first time I tried it because of restrictive warding.

However, once I put a light in that key way and so what the warning looked like, it became a whole lot easier.

So let's get this open right now going to pull the shutter aside and put tension on the core with this wiper insert.

And to manipulate the wafers, I'm using the standard hook in 25 thousands.

So as you can see, once you know how to approach picking those wafers, they're not terribly difficult.

But if you just try to break this lock, I think you'll find the warding does a great job of protecting it.

So hats off to Vero for making the most of an ordinary wafer lock, but it is still a wafer lock.
