So I just started to put up a few decorations for Christmas, and it has changed my mood before.

Past continuous

I was just feeling a little bit like overwhelmed and just not quite in the spirit of things this season, and soon as I started putting some things out, I was like, Yes, I'm in this moment now.

Gerund

So my advice is, if you feel like you're just not quite in the spirit of things this season, then start putting up some decorations and it just magically transforms everything.

Anyways, I wanted Thio tell you guys about some really cool new updates.

So the first thing that I want to say that's been really inspiring and motivating to me for honestly a couple years now.

Is this video by Steve Harvey talking about Take the jump.

His thing you have to do who have to jump there is no way around.

So yeah, I'll be sure to check out the whole video.

I can link you guys too, if you just feel like you need to be inspired in that way.

Basically, what that video means to me is that there's all of these beautiful like dreamers out there who have achieved their dreams.

And you see them in his metaphor, hang gliding just floating around up in the sky.

But how did they get there like they didn't just start, they had to jump.

You have to take the jump fall and then your parachute will open.

I think that I personally live a very cautious and measured life, like I like everything to be thought through.

It's almost funny sometimes, like how much I try to think in measure everything, and that could be really good.

Sometimes in life, you just have to go out there and try.

So hearing that message from Steve Harvey just really peps me up, and it's like having somebody in my corner like you can do this.

So I wanted to share that real quick, and maybe you find yourself in a similar situation where you just need somebody out there to believe in you end to just allow yourself to take the jumps in life that lead you to the dreams in your life.

So all that leading up to the fact that I'm going to be going full time now on dearly.

Bethany and I am so excited to do that, I probably will say I'm so excited in the rest of this video because it really is something that I've started as a hobby just from a place of trying.

Thio find meaningful friendships around center, topics that I really like and the other people really like.

I feel very just blessed to be a part of creating content for you guys and then also to have your friendship in support behind me as well.

Any sad day, I can just, like, go online and speak with you guys, and it cheers me up.

So to do that full time is something that I want to try to.

So I'm hanging up my hat on my career as a designer.

I'm not taking any more client work for designs.

That chapter has been wonderful, but I'm so happy now to do something that I really love that gives me more work.

Honestly, I just did a video on what I would tell my 20 year old self and looking back on all that time since I was 20 I was just thinking, I've worked every hour that I was awake.

Essentially, if I wasn't asleep, I was working and that would look like a 12 hour day, a 16 hour day doing all different kinds of work, including work here on this channel, which I loved.

But also I would work retail jobs, mopping floors at night.

I would do office work like there was nothing that I would say no to.

There was no work that I felt like I couldn't do.

It could be something that you overwork and wear out.

So I'm just ready now to have more work life balance too.

So if I can prioritize more of my day, if I can be in charge of my day, then I also I'm looking forward to saying yes to more family, friends, events, activities because honestly, I've been saying no to everything, and I'm just ready to have a little bit of breathing room, too.

But there's so many like dark corners that I want Thio spruce up again here at dearly.

Bethany, which includes all of the little things I started but didn't have time to maintain podcasts.

Closet sales instagram more YouTube videos.

There's just so many things like, Honestly, I haven't done a podcast in months, and it's just something I'm aching to do again.

And I have some other future ideas that I'm still looking forward to as well.

Which brings me to the next idea that I have.

And I'm not really ready to tell you everything about it just yet.

So I'm really excited to work with him again, like, really closely.
