  • There it goes.

  • I'm officially all alone out here.

  • I'm calling Brady.

  • I'm 33 years old from Portland, Oregon, and I just completed the very first crossing of Antarctica.

  • Solo thief.

  • No one ever completed this journal.

  • A lot of great explorers have tried over the years.

  • And so I was fascinated by seeing if it was possible.

  • My first date alone, Antarctica was dropped off.

  • I was so excited, but also really nervous.

  • All of a sudden I was like, Well, here I am alone.

  • What'd I get myself into?

  • This project was so challenging mentioned, I think, much more mental than physical.

  • Of course, the physical demands were mistreating.

  • Being such a cold, harsh place of being alone, physiologic managed quite intense.

  • I got caught out a massive storm lever.

  • Biggest dangers of making this crossing have to do with not having food.

  • Given that I'm not gonna take much days off because if you take a day off, you're still eating food or fuel running short on supplies.

  • So for me, I couldn't take a single day off 54 days.

  • I kept going.

  • Benjamin storms the danger that is setting up taking down 10 minutes 50 60 70 miles per hour winds.

  • If the tent poles break, the wind carries where your tent, that's it.

  • Results in death another 12.5 hour day out here.

  • No reason for continuing to go every single day became much larger than myself and put this into the world to share, hopefully, have a ripple effect of inspiration throughout the world, not only for myself.

  • Inspire others to dream big cycles in their own lives and realize the impossible can become possible.
