  • - Why do you want to become a BAND 6 nurse? Here we go. “I want to become a Band 6 Nurse

  • because, having studied the job description and the person specification in detail, I

  • feel strongly I have the necessary competencies, skills, qualities and expertise to perform

  • the duties to the high standards necessary. In addition to possessing the necessary leadership,

  • priortisation, planning and organizational skills, I also have an abundance of knowledge

  • that will enable me to excel within the role. If I am successful, I will demonstrate a commitment

  • to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of care. I will be reliable, tactful and discreet

  • in all of my work, and I will also show a commitment to confidentiality and lifelong

  • personal and professional development. Finally, I will always be driven and committed in everything

  • I do to help the NHS provide inclusive, quality and equitable services to all of its patients,

  • clients and service users regardless of their circumstances or background.” That is a

  • rock solid answer! It’s positive in nature, and it is loaded with lots of great keywords

  • and phrases that I feel are a match for the job description for a BAND SIX nurse. Now,
