Hey, geography was high doing doing good.

I don't know if you know what I'm wearing my Canada 1 50 shirt because next week we're going to Canada.

We're doing a geography to students are gonna win these trophies.

Some of you guys suggested it and I liked it, so I chose it.

Now, believe it or not, there is still some places left in this world that have hidden treasure or sunken treasure.

Where to find hidden treasure in the world in mind.

There are actually a lot of disputed slash confirmed hidden treasure areas in the entire planet.

A lot of them have been either discovered or partially discovered, so I'm just gonna mention some of the top ones that I thought were really interesting located in various regions across the planet.

So first off, let's start off with the Americas.

One thing you gotta know is that North America and the Caribbean are like loaded with tons of hidden or sunken treasure because a lot of people are stupid because they thought they could like outrun hurricanes, or they thought they could survive in the desert.

But they couldn't because it's hard to survive in the desert.

The point is because a lot of things not messy treasure got hidden.

Which brings us to number one, the Treasure Fleet of 17 15.

Back in the 18th century, the Spanish thought it would be a good idea to overload 11 ships with like a Tana treasure that they got from their colonies was estimated to be worth over $2 billion by today's inflation rate standards.

Basically, they packed everything up in Cuba, and they left right before hurricane season because they were like That's going to stop the pirates but didn't realize hurricane would hit them.

All the ships were sunk somewhere off the coast of Florida.

Today, seven of the 11 ships were discovered mostly by this guy, Kip Wagner.

However, the four remaining ships are yet to be discovered, including what is speculated to be the biggest ship, the San Miguel, which probably holds most of the treasure.

So if you're a little crazy and you got the gear to go into the deep Atlantic Ocean to search for it, feel free to do so you might find tons of money.

So this dude, Forrest Fenn, was diagnosed with cancer in the eighties, and he was like, Before I pass away, I'm gonna bury this bronze chest filled with gold nuggets and gold coins somewhere in the Rocky Mountains above Santa Fe.

He wrote two books called Throw the Chase and Too Far to Walk, which contain clues on where he hid the treasure.

He actually ended up surviving the cancer, and he's still alive.

He said he would collect the treasure if nobody found it by the time the treasure appreciated in value to over $10 million.

Another clue we know is that the treasure is at least 5000 feet, or about 1500 meters above sea level, so it's like probably in a mountain.

So far, nobody has found it, and three people have actually died trying to look for it.

Yeah, if you're willing to go into the dry air a desert of New Mexico to try to find treasure, feel free to do so.

Nobody found it being in which there are, like so many other like hidden treasure areas in the Rocky Mountains slash desert area of the U.

You got like the Victoria Peak Treasure hunter Bukos Gold Dutchman Gold mine in Arizona, the Mojave Desert Treasure Little Bighorn treasure.

Basically, if you want to hide expensive stuff the desert, or like really crazy mountain areas are probably a good idea.

Back in the 1993 there was a dude that went under the pseudonym of Max Valentine, who supposedly hit a golden owl somewhere in the countryside of France.

He gave 11 clues to the location of the Golden Owl and offered a 1,000,000 funks.

Remember, this is before they switched over to the euro currency.

He assured treasure hunters in an interview in 1997 that he periodically check the whereabouts of the out just to make sure if it was still there.

Unfortunately, he passed away in 2009 so we are not able to get any more information from him.

But yeah, if you visit France, who knows?

Somewhere in the countryside you might find a golden owl number four the Kruger millions back in the 19th century, the South Africans were fighting against the British in the Boer wars, and this guy, the first president of South Africa, was like, We don't want the British to take over all the treasures that we've accumulated here in South Africa.

So he took a ton of gold and diamonds, which are estimated to be worth about $500 million in today's inflation rate standards and supposedly hid them somewhere along the Blyde River in that puma longer province of South Africa.

In 2016 this guy named Jerry Deploy was kayaking around the men Tara and Marin Tia Marin Sha.

However it's pronounced, his kayak tipped over, and he found, like a small pile of gold coins.

But immediately the South African government was like hold on people on the heavily implored locals and tourists not to go to that area because the site is now kind of like under the jurisdiction of Joanna's Berg.

You can kind of go there, Yeah, see if you can find some gold coins in South Africa.

The Lost City of Pie TT this one's a little bit more legendary, but it's kind of backed up with a lot of kind of evidence.

Basically, if you want to hide something or yourself, the vast jungles of South America are probably a good bet.

Half the animals there are either poisonous or vicious or contagious.

Basically, back in the 16th century, the Spanish are fighting against the Dinkins in 15 72.

Lincolns then retreated into the rain, forced, taking about estimated $10 billion worth of gold with them.

And since then they kind of disappeared and dispersed.

And nobody really quite knows exactly where.

There was some skepticism about this, even existing at all.

Then, in 2001 and archaeologists discovered a report of a Spanish missionary that had supposedly encountered a city of gold with Jules located in the jungles.

However, the reliability of that document is kind of under question as well.

Nonetheless, it's weird, because over the years people have found like strange clues.

Back in the seventies and eighties, some dude's discovered these strange pyramid things and product quality.

In 2009 satellite images has shown that there were clearings in the folk of the ocular region, indicating that there were settlements there.

At some point, this guy discovered more ruins.

But so far no vast treasure trove of gold has been discovered.

But all the signs seem to point in the direction of verifying the claim that the Lincolns dispersed in this area after the Spanish kind of defeated them.

The last one Mama she does treasure named after Imperial Japanese General Tomoyuki Yamashita.

Basically, during World War Two, the Japanese occupied various regions of East Asia and South East Asia.

This dude took a lot of stuff, like gold and jewels and statues from places like Malaysia, India, Myanmar and shortly before he was captured and hunky head, most of it in the Philippines, specifically in Palawan.

In the banquet Bay area, it's reported that he dispersed the treasure in 172 different locations.

This guy actually found some of it in a cave in the seventies, including bars of gold and a golden Buddha statue.

But then the government kind of seized all the stuff that he discovered.

But then he sued the government and got $22 billion in a lawsuit.

Like if you couldn't keep the treasure than he could at least sue the government and then get money from the government so that he could Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Today not all the treasure has been discovered, and there's still a lot of locations where it could be.

Go to the Philippines and see if you can find some of that Asian goal.

There's also a lot of other places I could have mentioned, like the Oak Island treasure, possibly dumped up by Vikings or the order of the Knights of Templar, loaded with booby traps and water tunnels, a Lima treasure possibly buried on Cocos Island off the coast of Costa Rica.

There's like a ton of other Spanish ships that sunk in the Caribbean in the Florida Keys.

Cool thing is, is that all these places are still kind of technically up for grabs.

You know, if you're a little intrepid, you got the right equipment and you're up for an adventure.

And I put your little Indiana Jones head on and start Discovery.

I'm not encouraging you guys to do anything unsafe.
