Chris is like the godfather of craft beer and eerie.

So if I could get him on board, I think all the others around town will follow.

I got a few ideas, few things that we're thinking about that when they run by you.

We like throwing stuff in the wall around here.

So, yeah, I also wanted to show Matt some of your gear back there.

Chris Syriani could see us his competition because we also want to sell craft beer, but always eliminate potential conflicts by striking deals that are mutually beneficial.

Actually, they're in good shape there, about 13 years old.

It's about about how long we've been around.

So I started thinking, Why not find a way to be collaborative instead of being competitors so we could have switched gears and came up with a barbecue and brew place?

I wanna highlight the local brewers as the kind of the infrastructure of the bar side.

Brand This, Uh, this is kind of a national brand for brewers and everything.

And again, it's it's or, um And then being able to have this kind of coop.

And if we pour all of your beers and we have one beer that we call our own, made by the crap local beers, brewers I can't stop talking.

Met we'd like to do is come up with our own kind of middle of the road beer, like a like an amber ale or something like that that we'd be able to sell everywhere on.

And then that way the name brand would would of the beer itself would be ableto travel.

And they would say I know that beer, because all the craft guys are making the same recipe, you know, and a ce faras rolling out a joint national craft brand.

I'm really content growing within her own four walls.

I don't have, you know, the desire, the wish to be a national brands and dominate the states.

And I think most guys in this industry for the same exact way.

But thanks after an unsuccessful meeting with Chris Syriani Brewery, Matt and I have regrouped and we're ready with our streamline pitch.

Good to see you were headed over to talk to Matteo at Voodoo Brewery and hopes that we could get him on board.

And I haven't filled in on my journey, but come up here from Baltimore and decided Tow Open a business here, you know, got together with Matt and came up with a really a barbecue and brew place.

But the idea really is we're not gonna brew our own beer, but to embrace fellow brewers and hopefully pour their beer on the surface, it might look like a softball pitch to get these local brewers to let us poor their beer, but it's not that easy.

See, these local brewers want to capture the market.

They want to be the only place that their beers served.

I'm trying to convince them that if they let us serve their beer.

Where if we can go, you know, booties down the street there a great place you got to go try.

There's some great barbecue down the road, you know?

We like to obviously showcase the beer and compare it with some great food.

Our plan is to be open by Memorial Day is coming very quickly, very quickly.

And, um, you know, we'd love to be able to pour your beer.

You know, you brew, I brand and we both profit.

We got a tail on board our first, yes, but we still have the second part of the pitch, which is having him producer house beer that we hope we can sell him.

On the other concept that we had was tohave a house beer.

One that's our beer right, brewed by a local brewer.

And it'll be a you know, our name of a beer, but brewed by voodoo or whatever, however, that legally has to be done.

It's something that voodoo Brewing Company has never done and probably will never do.

Any service to private label something for someone else.

So again, we like to be a resource and welcome to the community.

Our first pitch with Chris Syriana was a bust, but in business, you never give up.

We really need to serve his beer in our restaurant.

So we're heading back to give him the reworked pitch.

Hey, Chris, it's good to see you get the word.

All successful businesses have been told the word no more than they've heard the word yet.

Someone once said no to me in a very crucial deal.

I took a red eye through all night across the country, got in front of them and turned that no, into a yes.

You know, we want to pick up on the conversation that we had with you the other day, which I think was we felt a little overwhelming.

We just threw a five year plan that you and 15 seconds, you know, and I know I came in hot again.
