You're about to go into childbirth, how are you feeling right now at the moment? - At the moment's I'm fine 'cause I'm not having a contraction. - [Scooter] What is the game plan looking like going into this childbirth. I know this is your first childbirth, what's the game plan? Well, I didn't do an epidural. So, yeah. - [Scooter] We know that this is supposed to be a girl, is there any backup plan just in case, this comes out a boy? What's the situation looking like. - I'm about to have a contraction so (straining) I can't answer that, hold on. - What have you done to prepare for this moment right here? - Um, be a woman my whole life. - [Scooter] Any readings, any videos you've been watching? - I went to a six-hour labor and delivery class. - [Scooter] Now if there's anything you can tell the people watching this video right now that they need to know, what would it be? - Don't get pregnant. - [French Voice] A few moments later. - Coach, just want to congratulate you first of all on a successful pregnancy. Way to go, great job. Take us through what you're feeling right now. What are the emotions like? This is your first child, take us through how you're feeling. I'm exhausted and hungry and slightly in pain. - [Scooter] Now speaking of pain, what was it like? Take a look at this replay. Can you walk us through what exactly were you experiencing in this moment right here? - I couldn't even tell you. It was a lot. - [Scooter] On a scale of 1 to 10, where was the pain threshold? - Depends on what we're talking about. The initial pain was manageable 'cause I'm a G. But it got to the point where I thought I blacked out. Apparently I didn't, but that's how it felt. - [Scooter] How was your husband during this whole process? Did he help you? Did he hurt you? Was he detrimental? - (giggling) He was great. He had to hold one of my legs.. I didn't punch him in the face, which was I originally thought was gonna happen. - This child came out pretty quickly, tell us a little bit about the stats. - She's 7 lbs, 11 oz. Born at 7:24 PM Eastern Standard Time. - [Scooter] Absolutely, of course. - And 20.1 inches long. Ahead of most babies her size. Five hours in the hospital and I had a baby. - Now the baby came out with a lot of hair. Were you expecting that? - Yes, actually, in the ultrasound, they showed that she had hair, but we really couldn't see her whole head, so we didn't realize she had this much hair. - [Scooter] Will you be breast feeling or formula-feeding? - I'm gonna try out breast feeding, give it a good chance. Apparently you're gonna wanna give up, but that's not who I am. - [Scooter] As witnessed during this pregnancy. - Facts, facts. - [Scooter] How does it feel right now with your child on your chest, being a mother? 30 minutes ago you were not a mother, now you're a mother, how does it feel? - 30 minutes ago I was still a mom. She just wasn't out in the world. But now, it's really real. - [Scooter] So just take us through the whole childbirth process play-by-play, what was going through your mind, walk us through. - I'm not gonna lie, they had me in the first half. But, I got towards the end and I did what I had to do. Sometimes you gotta overcome. - Clutch, clutch. - Yeah, and we made it. We made it. Pain is temporary. But the reward, this is gonna last forever. - [Scooter] So baby number one is here, what's the name? - This is Amara Rayne. - [Scooter] The people wanna know what's next? Will there be second or a third child, where do we go from here? - That's to be determined. We gotta see how this plays out. - [Scooter] All right thanks coach, see you next game. - All right. - I'm here so I won't get fired. (both laugh) - I'm a grown man!
