  • Waas to take the food that we have asking for donations for sandwiches, packing them up and giving it out to people as they came to the door, as opposed to having them come sit down inside.

  • I put a post on Facebook asking for donations of sandwich items.

  • Monday morning at seven o'clock, the doorbell rang.

  • It was the post office, and they came with boxes and boxes and boxes of donations.

  • So here's some more donations.

  • You could see these Amazon bosses.

  • They're coming in by the droves.

  • So here, mayonnaise Ah, mayo.

  • As we go through the boxes will probably find tuna jelly.

  • Peanut better, um, utensil plastic utensils.

  • The other thing that's been so nice and remarkable is we've gotten so many calls and donations from catering companies and restaurants that had parties cancelled.

  • They were ready for a party of 700 the next thing you know, it was cancelled.

  • So they had lots of food to give us.

  • And they did.

  • The staff and volunteers at chips aren't letting the Corona virus keep them from providing food to those who need it.

  • It's working.

  • We're here, and we're going to stay here and we're gonna keep giving away food.
