  • It's my favorite, locally owned and operated halfway, and it's just around the corner from the bus stop.

  • Meals, deserts and coffee flavors you won't find in any large brand coffee shops.

  • It also helps that their menus are in English, too.

  • This is the place to go downtown for fresh fish, and you'll never know what you find as fish change, depending on the season, no matter what, you cannot go wrong with.

  • And if shopping isn't your thing, that's OK, too.

  • You can take a walk through tension to discover its arcades and sports center.

  • There's a movie theater.

  • There's karaoke boxes.

  • Pay attention to where everyone around you is going, and you might make a new discovery, too.

  • In the evening, it might be fun to take a walk over to the famous nightlife district Na Casa.

  • It's really quiet during the day, but once it gets dark, streets are filled with salary, men and tourists.

  • The streets are decorated with things that girly girls like sparkly dresses and colorful flowers, and stores here are hoping for some pretty unusual hours.

  • There are lots of excellent restaurants in this area as well.

  • So even if you're just there to people, watch prop into a restaurant of your choice after strolling down the streets.

  • Actually, restaurants and anything with a members only sign you probably shouldn't enter.

  • A short walk along the river will bring you to Fukuoka famous Gap, Die or food stalls.

  • Here you can enjoy street food while you sit with other tourists and locals in a really tight and cozy atmosphere.

  • This is a great place to grab some ramen and maybe a beer.
