  • All right.

  • What is going on, guys?

  • In the last video, we took a look at Unboxing the prion Bandai Master grade going to hazel to And in that you have the option of building a what is essentially a 2.0 version of the master grade Quell.

  • So I thought, Why don't we take a pause on that and go back?

  • And I dug this out of my backlog.

  • This is the original master grade quest.

  • So I figured, Why don't we take a look at this first?

  • So then we're looking at the hazel, too, and it's quelle forme.

  • Weaken.

  • See how basically the 2.0 version of this is gonna be compared to this original kid?

  • Now, this originally came out all the way back in a tool 1999.

  • So it's now a 20 year old kid.

  • But this came out at a particular time in the masquerade line when I feel like the masquerade kits were still in there very early phases.

  • But they're pretty solid kits, and they definitely are lacking some detail.

  • They don't know the full inter frame of a lot more steam lines, things like that.

  • But I think they're They're good, solid kids.

  • You have different kids like the Easy Eight and the are accepting its RS 79 g ground Gundam things like that.

  • That was seriously kids that were also really nice gift coming out around the similar time.

  • So I think obviously it's not gonna be as good as the new 2.0 version that we have now of this, but I think it's still gonna be pretty solid.

  • So cool box are here on the front.

  • Obviously, now you can see how just this design inspiration went on to inspire the design of the justa.

  • So it's cool design here.

  • Of course, the Titans color is looking very nice as always on the ends The box here it is kind of the same thing.

  • Just cropped image of what's on the front.

  • Let's go over here onto this side.

  • We've got a front and rear view of what the kid is gonna look like all built and painted up.

  • We got the rifle and the shield there, that classic curved a shield.

  • It's got opening cockpit gimmick.

  • It's got the head.

  • Of course, it's got a nerve centre frame there on the back back.

  • That's a nice detail inside the backpack, there, some hands, which looked to be like fixed post hands, which I prefer.

  • So hopefully that's right for that.

  • And then we have our 1 20 scale pilot figure here, in this case, not a pilot figure.

  • It's an engineer, Nina.

  • So we've got a figure of Nina Purple turn in this case.

  • So that's one of the great things I love about these Old Master gets to is the 1 20 skilled pilot figures, unfortunately there in that kind of softer rubber instead of just regular plastic but on the back side or on the other side?

  • Here, get a Scott before armament.

  • So a little bit, just kind of un arms and obviously not holding a shield or anything.

  • And then some pieces of armor off.

  • They're showing some of the inner frame.

  • It does have one here, so it's got some frame there on the leg.

  • Got some nice foot detail.

  • I'm pretty sure those aren't gonna be actual red hearts.

  • I need to be so that's just painted in detail, their markings, which I'm pretty sure probably going to be dry transfers.

  • For that.

  • I'm assuming no water slide in here.

  • Of course.

  • Then the weapons, the beam, savor the shield, the gym rifle.

  • And then this which I must have been in some version of Jim Spray gun.

  • I forget the actual name of that go up and then the list price for this 3000 yen so very affordable.

  • These old master grades aren't gonna cost you a whole lot of all.

  • That is the other great thing about them.

  • And another great thing about them is this Inside Here you have this nice big color photo here, printed on this cardboard paper and of a nice, big painted sample kit here.

  • So you can have that is a nice big reference.

  • It's all appreciated and d called up with some decals.

  • There looks great.

  • So that's always nice to have.

  • And then inside here, we've got all the runners, everything.

  • Of course, there's our Nina figure which, unfortunately in this case, is all one piece.

  • So you don't have to worry about any seem minor move or anything on that.

  • A lot of them have, like a separate peace, like for the backside of figure something.

  • But it looks like in this case, they didn't have to do that.

  • So that's good.

  • I don't like that a lot easier.

  • We've got all of our runners here.

  • It's a lot of titans colors, obviously just dark gray frame and then some parts in there.

  • And it looks like here in the bottom of the box, uh, something printed here about I'm not exactly sure what this is all about, but I've never really seen anything printed on the inside bottom of a master A box like this.

  • So that's kind of funny.

  • Uh, this is a kid that I've had for a while, so it's not a kid has been recently printed.

  • I mean, obviously, the quail, I'm sure, has been printed more recently than this particular one that I have.

  • But so I don't know if you have this get if you bought it recently, it's probably gonna have this printed in there.

  • That's probably what this one is probably pretty old.

  • But anyway, here is the gym quell with just the kind of Leinart there of this side Profile of the head Titans logo up there, the top on the back side.

  • We have the reverse image of what we got there.

  • printed here is is the backside of the painted sample kits.

  • So again, nice markings and everything on that, appreciating on that, also very prominent at the time.

  • Opening up to the centre pages here of the manual, we got fights on foundation of Titans against a riot and Titans color.

  • So some cool history.

  • But it's all in Japanese.

  • Unfortunately, over here the painting guide Pretty standard Titans colors again and then just kind of the same kind of stuff we saw on the outside of the box there.

  • And over here is about the markings and weapons.

  • And then we do have a front and back Look here at the Nina Purple Tin Figure, so it's good reference.

  • It is therefore painting up her as well.

  • All right, let's go back to the front of the manual.

  • And here I got a bunch more information all in Japanese.

  • But more importantly, some really awesome illustrations here, just line arts of the Quell.

  • So there is with the armor and over here, probably Maur interesting is internal details that you can see on this of these illustrations are really cool.

  • You can see all that cool detail of the frame, and there's a shame they couldn't have that all actually built into the kit.

  • But, hey, maybe for some kid in the future they'll have, like, this level of detail for the inner frame and actually all little parts and things like that would be pretty awesome.

  • So it looks really cool.

  • That's always nice to see on these old kids as well.

  • We should have some more of that later on.

  • We'll see here.

  • I mean, here we do have a what looks to be some CG renders of the mobile suits just standing there and also some action shots.

  • And then just more information down there.

  • And Japanese here lay out of all the parts of the mobile suit, then our actual parts list.

  • So there you go.

  • It's not gonna be a very complicated kids is not gonna be a whole lot of parts of runners for this.

  • Just it's an old master grade, and it's a pretty simple design, being basically a gym and then just getting into the construction.

  • So the construction, like the layout of the instructions a little bit odd if you haven't built any old master grade kids, it's a little bit different from how they do it.

  • Now it just goes through the construction here.

  • And then we've got some more of that awesome illustration here.

  • Really cool image, their mechanical illustration there, inside of head.

  • So you can see how that's gonna look details their details of inside the backpack there and then down here of the shoulder and arm and hand.

  • And yet it is down here as well.

  • So really cool lookers with little open hatches and stuff on there that's always cool to see and the construction continues under.

  • Then we have some more really awesome illustrations here of the leg unit as well.

  • So breakdown of some of those different sections of the leg Inter framed all that looks really super cool.

  • Really awesome to see that the weapons just a nice illustrations of those nothing like open hatch or anything like that.

  • And then Nina Poppleton down there at the bottom and then just finishing up the construction of weapons here on dhe, the final construction, and then down here, marking guy where all the different stickers and decals are gonna go on the kit.

  • All right, so that is it.

  • Let's get a look at the runners.

  • First up is the foil stickers, which you'll be happy to see is just for basically some boiled green cameras.

  • And that is pretty much just so That's all we have on there.

  • But we do have some marking stickers, which is gonna be our big numbers.

  • You have the choice of one through zero through nine on there as well.

  • It's, um, different caution markings tightens the logos on there as well.

  • And we've got some dry transfers here as well.

  • And yeah, Mike it I'm, I can tell, is very old.

  • So it's been around for a while.

  • I'm not sure if these are gonna was still work very well.

  • But we've got some Titans logos there as well.

  • A some numbers on here as well.

  • So All right.

  • And then for Polly Caps, we've got PC 116 for one fully caps here in gray.

  • But then we have some Maur on here, which is actually marked as j runners.

  • I'm guessing these are more specifically made for this particular kit has gonna see the runner working for this is actually a master grade 100 scale rgm 79.

  • So any of the R.

  • G M 79 kids.

  • I guess we'll be using this particular runner.

  • So we have a bunch of polar caps for this kid.

  • They, of course, have the very familiar SP one clear pink Bemis.

  • Every fact part for this, which actually came out The date on this runner is 1999.

  • So that's actually came out the same year that this quick it did once again.

  • Here is our look at the Nina Poppleton figure as well.

  • So front and back of that molding on these is pretty nice.

  • It's just the fact that it's in soft rubber, just a sanding away the gate marks and then just the mold lines around on the side of them.

  • It just takes a little bit more careful effort and then we ever MP one, which is going to be our hand parts.

  • And this one is also in a little bit softer plastic as well, so sort of similar to the masquerade dumb how it uses a little bit softer plastic for its fingers.

  • We've got that again with this kid as well, unfortunately, but it, as we can see it, is exposed hands here for the closed fist and open hands.

  • Now I think we are going to have a little movement here with the actual trigger finger hands or weapon holding hands.

  • You can see there's the forefinger.

  • They're the pointer finger and in the thumbs are molded on this runner.

  • I'm guessing the other parts.

  • We live in a different runner years running a and this runner is also marked just rgm 79.

  • So does not very specific parts for the Quell quite yet.

  • We've got some backpack parts in their support for the feet, hand covers, seated and standing pilot figures on there as well.

  • Wannabe would be some of our inner frame parts, and this runner is marked for the R.

  • G m 79 but also for the Arctic 78 N.

  • T.

  • One Alex.

  • So this would be some of the same enter frame parts.

  • They're used for the original Master Alex as well, which is pretty interesting.

  • As you see, Here is the rest of our hand parts and three fingers for that.

  • So there's just gonna be in regular polystyrene plastic that we've got here on this runner runner be in a little bit kind of light.

  • Bluish gray color thirsty here in essentially a very dark grey black color is just parts for the feet as well as in parts of the torso.

  • This one as well, just from the r g.

  • M 79.

  • So still no new specific well, parts quite yet, But those are gonna start here on runner D.

  • So this one is specifically marked for the quail.

  • As you can see, it's in four colors.

  • We got some yellow over here.

  • Some read about the tops and dark blue over here.

  • And then some black forest all through the center for some parts for the torso and skirt parts.

  • And then the little beam rifle there as well or being a spray gun.

  • Anyway, E one is back to our inner frame color.

  • You've got some parts here for US weapons as well.

  • This runner is also marked R g m 79.

  • But this section over here, this little section is mark specifically for the quell.

  • So there's a part specifically for this kid f some or dark blue rgm 79 parts here.

  • Obviously shield parts, caf parts, some parts for the head as well, and their energy is another runner specifically marked for the quails, with some parts for the arms legs.

  • Shoulder is the front of the head.

  • All that here in some or dark blue plastic.

  • And finally, runner h is our clear visor piece for this.

  • So obviously it's supposed to be an orange, so you'll have to get some clear orange paint for this.

  • But once again, this runner is just from the art g M 79.

  • So basically, you've got to full new runners for the Quell, and the rest of it is all just rgm 79 Jim custom parts.

  • So that is it for the on boxing.

  • And I've got to say I'm already seeing some major improvements that we're gonna have with the new version of this.

  • But of course, with the new version being a option of the Hazel to which is a master grade P Bandai kit, which obviously isn't going to be going to be cheap and this get probably running you attn least half, if not much less than half the price of that, I say this might still be a viable option for people who are wanting to build a master grade quell so we'll see how it goes.

  • Interview Coming up next to you guys Do have another further questions or comments.
