  • Meguro is a very popular in trendy town to live in.

  • In fact, you'll find a lot of corners living here because it's just like the cool place to be.

  • You'll find a lot of trendy bars and restaurants, but there's actually cool and cheap eats that's like all littered around this neighborhood.

  • You'll summer chief somewhere.

  • Not so cheap, But let's go and check it out.

  • I've actually featured in this place for my autonomy video because it has some of the best economy in all of Tokyo.

  • Naka Meguro, also known by local sense document is Instagram, famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms, but it's actually a trendy and relaxing spot to walk around on the weekends.

  • Most of the stores run along the river, but I'm going to start with this hidden secret shop.

  • My God, it's so hot.

  • Number one Watabe Machi from Mia.

  • Beyond Miyabe in is an award winning war gushy store isolated in the Backstreets of Naka Make.

  • Unfortunately, we made the cardinal sin are made the cardinal sin.

  • We don't actually have any utensils to eat this.

  • It didn't give us to pick some chopsticks.

  • Today you guys get to see me use my hands.

  • One of the specialties at this place is that they make the mochi really, really soft.

  • This is like the softest it can ever get.

  • It's crazy.

  • Oh, it's like I've grabbed a piece of fish or something and it's Oh, look and it's ready to fall.

  • That is a softest machi I've ever had in my entire life.

  • It's almost like eating up jelly, and I'm not even like Moochie.

  • It's almost like transparent family, the softest what a B movie I've ever had in my life.

  • It does soft Pekka choose, but you could do that.

  • But it's crazy like how much chemical it has used you, like, just have enough to cover the one of the most amazing You know what, He's not really like a rice cake, even though it's just like air Super light.

  • Claire from Green Bean to Bar Green Bean Bar is one of my favorite places to grab some chocolate and some sucking at the same time.

  • They actually have wine and suck a in this spot.

  • The bar chocolate is made with only caco beans and sugar.

  • No vanilla or qaqaa butter, so the true flavor of ingredients are magnified in each piece of chocolate.

  • I was really nice about this place is they have open windows or even actually see them inside making chocolate, and it's pretty.

  • I think we even have a class here.

  • I got the most popular many one which is Claire.

  • It looks so good.

  • It has read parts and hasn't moved as a piece of chocolate.

  • I was just sitting over there, but the classes just finished and they all came out to make a return back to their seats.

  • And I don't wanna bother.

  • So I moved to this new spot, but anyway, let's get Did you All right.

  • First, delicious chocolate mousse is so light and fluffy so area that Sosa going in on you take a bite.

  • Actually, the pastry itself and it's coated with shooter like a fart crystallized sugar and gives you like a little crunch, which is really nice.

  • And then you get, like, a little piece of being the chocolate that just kind of melts on your tongue.

  • Wow.

  • Chocolate mousse is super good night.

  • That's really cool about this place is that they have wine and sake bearing You're gonna suck it.

  • And it comes with a bone bond pairs really well, because the chocolate has a bitter taste.

  • And then when you have a son and has, like, a very strong sweet rice tastes mixes altogether and just such a refreshing combination today, why do I do.

  • Number three vegan gelato from pre Marsh Aid gelateria.

  • For all my vegan subscribers, I have a special surprise for you.

  • They have the most amazing vegans election I've ever seen in my entire life.

  • They have more than 40 different flavors in the shop.

  • This Kyoto born gelato shop offers award winning vegan gelato that is oh so guilt free.

  • Both Japanese ingredients show you a fermented rice.

  • It's almost like you can taste like sesame.

  • Yeah, so delicious.

  • If you're looking to get a nut, this is my recommendation.

  • Relatively new in town, this shop sells more than 30 kinds of all natural raw nuts and flavored nuts.

  • So This is actually my favorite flavor nuts in this store.

  • I don't know if you have, like nuts people, but they have a really good nuts here, and it comes in a little package.

  • Small, medium, large.

  • Got the small one.

  • Look out.

  • Really.

  • These nuts are It's so good might get chicken tasted smoked bacon old days almost like the oily bits of the banking.

  • Maybe actually put smoked bacon in here.

  • No Number six charcoal christened from Lotus, beget voters beget is a local organic bakery by Meguro River.

  • They use natural yeast and organic ingredients.

  • And I love the warm.

  • I was actually planning on getting the organic soft game to this really dope here.

  • But when I walked into the store, the owner was like, Hey, guess what?

  • We have a new raspberry cream cheese Cristante.

  • I'm like, Oh, really?

  • And then he showed me.

  • This is actually made from bientot charcoal from the coach.

  • E prefecture actually supposed to be really good for you.

  • It's like cleanse you out in detox.

  • You like all of the poisons, everything that's inside of your body I think with this seat I'm getting closer to this color.

  • Oh, I like a nice party surprise inside.

  • But then it's like rounded out like mixes well with like, buttery Cristante really can taste like they've been toward the charcoal.

  • But, like just knowing that it's good for you makes me feel so much better.

  • Like a lot of places just use like a raspberry jam.

  • But this place you can actually see, like the bits and pieces of raspberry make disease Number seven Odin from salmon A few years back, under the train tracks here, the city developed a new restaurant zone, allowing for someone to set up shop.

  • In this location, you can have a chicken soup, Odin, and it is amazing.

  • It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's definitely one of the best students I've ever had.

  • Plus, I just love the open layout.

  • It's or a clock, and it still hasn't opened yet.

  • But look at this line that's already forming.

  • This is one of the most popular places, so if you want to go here, definitely come early or make a reservation, that's a lot of Yukio.

  • Nothing like having a beer on a warm day like this.

  • So this is a Tokyo again.

  • I really don't know why they call it Tokyo game because from Tokyo, maybe it's like a really mushy food, and it just, like, picks up all the flavor of the ronin juices.

  • And it's really nice trying daikon like these air like pretty hefty signs of duck on size is really, really big.

  • This is just 1/4 of what I got.

  • Like I chopped it up in a poor little pieces.

  • Look how big that is.

  • That's daikon.

  • All right, so you can tell how long the dyke one's been cooked.

  • How much like choosing exports out is what has been cooked really well because it's so juicy and tender.

  • We also ordered a chicken balls, cabbage and enoki mushrooms.

  • Number eight putting from Maha Kara today she putting my car.

  • Taste is quite life, but it's actually pretty thick.

  • Oh, man, it is so Amy, like you could taste the egg and I'm actually gonna go look at that, huh?

  • That caramel is so nice.

  • The caramel is actually better, which is nice.

  • I like it goes in well with sweet pudding.

  • So I got the honey linen.

  • It sounds so summary.

  • I have to get something like refreshing right?

  • Salmon.

  • Pink late honey flavor is no.

  • That's wrong.

  • I haven't tasted a lemon yah, I'm getting this.

  • It's lemon.

  • It's good.

  • It's not sorry at all.

  • I feel like they only extracted the refreshing part minus a sour nous.

  • It's weird when you actually have a lemon number nine cheesecake from Nokko.

  • So Nicole is actually new to the neighborhood.

  • They've only been here for three months, but they have some of the most premium cheesecakes around.

  • You haven't tried the Japanese cheesecake.

  • This should be the 1st 1 Let's go.

  • Oh, wow, it's so cold to the touch that feels so good.

  • Look at that.

  • It's like package in like a nice container.

  • This is like a solid container, you know, when it comes in a container like this, any, like, cheap, convenient store stuff.

  • Look at that cheese.

  • All right, I'm gonna take the first bye.

  • It's like, really like hard that he's a really good cheese big.

  • It's really big, like this is like the smallest size.

  • We also have bigger sizes if you have a family with you definitely worth getting.

  • This is like a pretty new cheesecake that you don't get in a lot of places.

  • And I'm just happy to, like, try a cheesecake good like a traditional Japanese to skate like really, really rich, like almost heavy.

  • But like I don't like that, it's good, you know what I mean?

  • Number 10 Sheep food and Drinks at Rancho Pia.

  • So what I like about this place is that it's like, really, really inexpensive.

  • All the prices are written down and what's really nice about this place that has an English menus that you guys won't have any trouble trying to order here.

  • So if you guys are just looking for a place a drink and hang out and, like, spent some time, this is a swath.

  • Beers are only 410 yen.

  • Super funny How it's like you can't take them any off the wall.

  • Look how thick this thing is.

  • Oh, look cocky fry, which is fried oysters fresh.

  • I don't know if it's actually fresh from the ocean, but it's fresh from the fryer all right.
