Children make up almost 1/3 of Internet users, but the Internet wasn't necessarily built with their safety in mind.

We want to be sure that our Children can take their first steps into the digital world in a safe and positive way.

We all have a moral responsibility to do everything possible to make this happen and to combat cyber 1,000,000,000.

Three years ago, I set up the cyberbullying task force and challenged industry leaders to think about how technology conform part of the solution.

I'm really pleased that the BBC is rising to that challenge on helping young people who, using their own phones for the first time, to experience the positives of being online with the BBC, own it up.

 Getting Children to make the connection between what they're doing online, how it makes them feel and how their actions might affect others is so important.
