So today we're gonna be taking a look at something small.

Doesn't say we got something huge to take a look at.

Fractal design, a company that I like, don't get me wrong, but they've tried to reinvent the rectangle just too many times.

But to that, I say they've got something new.

But Alice had something else to say to that.

So this is the era I t X computer case from fractal design, a case that we have known about for like a year and 1/2 now that's been delayed upon, delayed upon, delayed for I guess, the right reasons because manufacturing tolerances changes, tooling things that didn't quite meet the standard.

So I guess if there's ever a reason to delay something, it would be for something like this.

This was originally supposed to be Phil's I t X case, and that, unfortunately just got delayed so many times we enter the building of something else.

Unfortunately, you could see why I wanted to maybe use it in my space, right?

Not the website, but the one I'm working on.

The only problem with this, and you'll see once it's on the case, is this really restrict air flow?

So if you would you like a home theater PC type of bill, baby something, It doesn't have a lot of heat.

Otherwise, they do give you a mesh panel, which gives you airflow.

Um, a jillion holes in this, which wouldn't look very, would not look pretty at the end of the day.

So we will, until the accessory box is not a lot here, just screws.

Trust me when I say this is unlike anything fractal design has ever made in the past.

And I'm glad to see them taking some risks and some chances of coming out with something else.

I sort of wish this were available and the same aesthetics in, like, a microwave.

You do this to me every time perspective.

This case, this stupid light, they'll hold out one hand.

So that was an indication of how light this is.

They're available in a bunch of different colors.

We have one of the cobalt ones here, which is blue like a gold silver black Phil.

My two favorite colors were an ass for the blue ones and the grey one.

Obviously, this isn't I t X chassis, so that means you're going to be able to fit 90 x motherboard in here.

It also is going to be using SFX power supplies, and you could see they clearly we're gonna have a power supply mounted somewhere else because we have a relocation power supply cable right here.

So it's probably somewhere in the middle.

You could see you could fit your graphics card.

It's got like it needed a biddy 80 millimeter fan right there.

So obviously you're gonna want to put some top fans on this, whether your water cooling or not.

But it is also water cooling friendly, and I will be honest here.

I have no idea how this comes apart, okay?

Comes apart like that, so he just pull on it.

Look at that curve that, like in terms of just aesthetics, this is so pleasing.

This one should pop off in the same manner.

Yes, So it's just it's got these little kind of push nipples, if you will, that go right into the side, right?

You got the filter material here, which I guess you could cut out if you don't want.

Because if these air exhausts, you don't really need the filter.

In my opinion on exhaust fans um, that's just gonna slow down your airflow.

And you have to worry about dust falling in nearly as much as being sucked in.

And so that means it's gonna pull in through those vents on the side.

It could pull in through the bottom as well, because you could see you have these gaps right here.

So, you know, you just have this little warmer feet that keep it from sliding around.

You do have filtered side ventilation there so it can pull in exhausting at the top of pulling through the side, the side panels which you saw already and then moves up that way.

All right, so you came out drives this way.

I don't think they mount on this side, because if they did, yeah, hits the metal first so they would mount on the inside like this.

So if you were just running like all em not to storage, which I kind of feel like a lot of I t X people would do these these days to try and keep cables Tidier.

Now, having to have any say does run to their state of connectors or say the power running to their drives.

So the power supply obviously mounts right here.

So you have another mid mounted cage right here.

Orin SFX L, which is the longer version so we can take off this bracket.

You can fit 22 and 1/2 inch drives or a single three and 1/2 inch drive to this cage is once grew there.

So once we remove this, we should be able to remove that piece, which would give us just a little bit more of an open layout in the front.

Looks like you can also change the height adjustment of this.

So that's a Dr Cage right there, which also doubles as a standard a T X amount.

So that is awesome, because if you don't want to run and SFX power supply, you can run a full sized power supply, something like a 600 or something short.

So here's the full size 80 ex bracket right there.

And then here is the SFX bracket right here.

So these are fully adjustable height wise, at least with as many screw holes as you see you've got there.

Oh, look at this Bill USB 3.0, flat cable, which I feels really long forthis size of this case.

Front panel connector is just a power switch and the power led.
