  • In today's lesson, we're going to look at conditional sentences, also called 'if' sentences.

  • Now, in some languages, conditional is a verb form that you conjugate.

  • But in English, when we say conditional, we are referring to a two-part sentence where one part begins with if.

  • There are quite a few forms of conditionals in English, but there are four main ones. These are conditionals 0, 1, 2 and 3.

  • And we're going to focus on these four forms because the others are rarely used.

  • It's important to learn the formulation and the usage of these four forms clearly.

  • By the end of this video, you will have a good idea of what the differences are both in terms of form and usage.
