Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel!
-
As promised I'm doing a uni room tour
-
of my university room 2016
-
I'll be here for a year, so I've made an effort to make it a bit homely
-
because last year it was more like a prison cell
-
So let's get started!
-
And also
-
I hope that it's okay that I'm doing this in a vlog style
-
rather than using my DSLR
-
because I think this is way easier
-
So this is my door where I come in
-
and you have this hook on the door where you can hang your coats
-
so that's what I've done
-
and
-
probably when we go into winter, this will change into my winter coat only
-
then when I turn around
-
we have
-
these wardrobes here
-
quite a bit of storage space
-
and then
-
this is the general overview of my room
-
this is probably the cleanest you will ever see my desk
-
because
-
I'm not the tidiest person
-
but
-
I like to be tidy and I like how this looks, but I never seem to keep it up
-
So I have my Macbook here with my phone
-
then in the corner here I'm burning this candle
-
and this is generally the
-
like one of the few candles I can actually stand
-
because usually candles give me headaches
-
so
-
well, scented candles anyway
-
then this little pot with some pens in it and scissors
-
Then I got this from my dad
-
well, he got it in his Christmas goodiebox
-
and it's just a water bottle
-
then on my wall here I have a few posters
-
and this here I won during summer school
-
because my group had the best presentation
-
so I was quite proud of that
-
then up here
-
I have something that reminds me of home, because I'm Dutch and these are typically Dutch houses
-
so I thought it would be cute to put them here
-
then in this corner I am keeping my makeup in this thing here and then my makeup brushes over there
-
then next to it is my guitar
-
a bag I need to throw away
-
and then my laundry basket
-
then in here are some miscellaneous stuff
-
this is my carry-on suitcase which I use to do my groceries
-
uni tip #1
-
like
-
life hack
-
just take your suitcase to go grocery shopping, it will save you so much hassle
-
and then this is my drying rack
-
I don't have anywhere else to put this so I'm keeping it here
-
then on my bed here I have a collection of blankets
-
I have this one which I usually use to sit on the couch with, but for now it's on here
-
and then I have this blanket here which I usually use as decoration
-
then the two pillows you saw in my primark haul
-
and then also the duvet cover you saw in my Primark haul as well
-
that blanket is from Primark as well and then that one is from HEMA
-
and then this is my biggest achievement I guess
-
It's my photo wall
-
and I printed off
-
all these pictures at home
-
I will leave a link on the screen somewhere from where I got these printed, because I think they were quite cheap
-
and then this I got at university
-
then moving on here
-
this is probably my messiest area
-
in my entire room
-
most of the time
-
you will see this in my vlogs, that this bit is always very messy
-
and you can always see it as well
-
but here I just store things I grab very often
-
So it's my deodorant there, perfumes
-
my tangle teezer
-
this is my door key
-
and some lip balm as well
-
and there you have me
-
then moving this way we have my bathroom
-
and all the doors in the accommodation have this
-
I don't know why that keeps on happening, but
-
everyone seems to have these scratches on their door
-
and when you open it
-
it's not very fancy, but it's very good
-
we have a toilet
-
sink
-
a little
-
shelf to put things on
-
I have my towel there
-
another towel there
-
mirror
-
and then my shower
-
so I mean
-
It's pretty basic, but it's such a luxury to have your own shower
-
and then I bought this thing from Tiger, and it's so convenient
-
I wish I had this way sooner
-
yeah
-
would recommend this
-
and then that concludes my room tour
-
So that was my room tour
-
I hope you liked it even though it was a vlog style
-
and I'm on the verge of getting a cold so if you can hear my voice being a bit creaky that's why
-
and I'll see you soon, bye!
