  • Hi I'm Coach Collin Castellaw from Shot Mechanics.com let's learn the in and out counter. The in

  • and out counter move starts just like the original in and out move where you are rolling

  • your hand over the ball and stabbing in the inside direction. So it starts out the same,

  • roll your hand over the top of the ball with that in and out dribble, stab inside, and

  • then your next step is going forward in the direction you were going. Now let's say your

  • defender did not bite on the in and out very well so they are probably going to be sliding

  • really hard to cut you off in this direction or backpedaling. At this point this is where

  • we are going to use the counter move to get back to our left hand for an easy shot or

  • get all the way to the rim. So you come up, you roll it over, next step forward, and then

  • we are crossing over low below our knees trying to get to the middle of the paint for an open

  • jump shot. Just make sure like i mentioned before when you cross over low you want to

  • keep it below your knees so your defender can't get their arm low enough to swipe it

  • away. The in and out cross is a quick combo move to get your defender back on their heels.

  • Watch Steph roll the ball in and out with his left hand and as the defender switches

  • feet to defend, Steph hits him with a quick cross. Putting the defender out of position.

  • Thanks for watching our tutorial on the in and out crossover move #2. If you like this
