  • It's time for the Decade Dessert Challenge,

  • brought to you by our friends at Geico.

  • For bundling made easy, go to Geico.com.

  • Without further ado, we are joined by Luke Vincentini.

  • Hi, Luke. - Hey, there.

  • How are you guys doing?

  • Thank you so much for being here.

  • Now, we would love to know what got you into baking?

  • So I've been into decorating cakes for about 12 years now.

  • I started when I was 12 years old.

  • And at first, it just started out as just simple buttercream

  • cakes and cupcakes.

  • And then I just wanted to elevate my skills,

  • so I switched to hyperrealistic cakes.

  • And then it's really fun because I'll

  • take a video of the finished product

  • and then just have my hand and a knife

  • come right into the frame.

  • And so it's a game for everybody.

  • It's just cut right in half.

  • It's very soothing to watch.

  • That's amazing.

  • So it looks like the real thing.

  • And you cut into it --

  • it was a cake the entire time!

  • Yep.

  • OK, Luke, in celebration of Marvel Studios' "WandaVision,"

  • we challenge you to create a dessert

  • inspired by a decade gone by.

  • Oh, that sounds awesome.

  • Let's do it.

  • Here's how it's going to work.

  • We're going to spin the wheel of decades.

  • Whatever decade it lands on, that's going to inspire

  • the cake you make today.

  • You ready, Luke? - I'm so ready.

  • Here we go.

  • Spin the wheel of decades.

  • [SPINNING WHEEL]

  • [DING DING]

  • Oh, the 1950s.

  • Oh.

  • Oh, yeah.

  • Golly gee willikers.

  • All right, you've got to make a '50s cake, Luke.

  • Yeah, this is awesome.

  • I already have so many ideas.

  • I can't wait to see what you come up with.

  • [MUSIC PLAYING]

  • OK, you guys, so I am about halfway through with this 1950s

  • cake.

  • So when I think 1950s, I think of like classic, old-school TV

  • dinners.

  • So that's what this cake was inspired by.

  • Right now, I'm working on what represents peas and carrots.

  • But it's actually modeling chocolate.

  • There are a couple really cool elements to this cake,

  • plus one little surprise at the end.

  • I can't wait for you guys to see the cake when it's all done.

  • Luke, we cannot wait to see your creation.

  • Are you ready to show us?

  • I am so ready.

  • Let's do it.

  • Drum roll, please.

  • [MAKING DRUM SOUNDS]

  • [DRUM ROLL]

  • [MOUTH TRUMPET SOUNDS]

  • Wow.

  • [CHUCKLES]

  • What?

  • Oh, my gosh.

  • LUKE VINCENTINI: You guys like that?

  • I'm--

  • Is that a-- the whole thing is a--

  • The whole thing, all edible.

  • Wow.

  • [JENNY SQUEALS]

  • I am so-- my brain is, like, confused, because, like,

  • it looks like a TV dinner.

  • But it tastes like a cake, as far as I know.

  • [CHUCKLING]

  • Just like cake, yeah.

  • What?

  • I can taste it.

  • Like, I can taste the steak, and the corn,

  • and the mashed potatoes.

  • But it's not any of that.

  • All right, guys, so this is my favorite part.

  • And that is the cake cutting.

  • So you guys want to see what's on the inside?

  • - Oh. - Yes.

  • It's so pretty.

  • But, yeah, I want to see what looks like inside.

  • [CHUCKLES]

  • All righty, here we go.

  • Oh, wow.

  • Oh, my god.

  • LUKE VINCENTINI: How's that? - Ah!

  • Oh. Ah.

  • [CHUCKLES]

  • Oh, my god, that's so funny.

  • What? What?

  • The steak looks grilled.

  • It's medium-rare.

  • That-- [CHUCKLES] yeah, that's a medium-rare right there.

  • And I just-- the tray--

  • that means that the tray that it's in is also cake.

  • Yep.

  • That is all chocolate, too.

  • Whoa.

  • My gosh.

  • All righty, so we also have some gravy here.

  • Wait, what?

  • What?

  • All righty, here we go, guys.

  • You know, I didn't want to get all food critic

  • and be like, yeah, the mashed potatoes don't have gravy.

  • But you came prepared.

  • [CHUCKLING]

  • LUKE VINCENTINI: You've got to have that gravy.

  • Well, I'm ready to eat.

  • [CHUCKLES]

  • I want my TV dinner now.

  • [CHUCKLES]

  • Luke, this is amazing.

  • Definitely inspired by the '50s and Marvel

  • Studios' "WandaVision."

  • This is awesome.

  • Thank you so much.

  • It was so much fun to make, too.

  • I am just so impressed.

  • Thank you so much, Luke.

  • Your art has now made us very hungry.

  • Thank you guys so much for having me.

  • This has been a blast.
