  • steroids were used in all sports and everyone was like, What are you talking about tennis and golf?

  • And I think it was around that time that the Lance Armstrong thing came out and he said, You know, you might not see it when you look at a cycling guy, he said.

  • But in bodybuilding is just more obvious.

  • But he said, any time where men are gladiators air competing and looking for an edge, it's a possibility that it gets introduced.

  • But he also went on to say, That doesn't mean that if you took it out, the champion wouldn't be any different.

  • Whether that's Lance or someone on the stage, um, just want to get your thoughts on that component because I think a lot of people misunderstand it that aren't in the sport.

  • And his Dorian used to say, Well, if it was just that, then how come you don't see everybody on this stage?

  • So what is your What is your thoughts on that sensitive topic of steroids?

  • Well, you know something?

  • What during said is, is I agree with it 100%.

  • You know, you see a lot of Lehman people who are not athletes would say, Well, you know, they became champion because of steroids.

  • No, no, no, no.

  • They became a champion because they're genetically gifted and born with something different far different than the average person.

  • Gladiators are naturally born.

  • You're not.

  • You can't make a gladiator.

  • Steroids can make a glady.

  • That's like putting putting, uh, a $15,000 saddle and the golden horseshoes on the donkey Jackass in the day he's still gonna be a jackass.

  • He's not going to be an Arabia.

  • That's just his genetic makeup, period.

  • So it's the same psyche and mindset you know it cannot make your champions during, said.

  • If it could make you a champion, then it'll be millions of Lee heinous make the during Yates millions of running Coleman's.

  • There's only one of each each era made on Lee.

  • One.

  • Each era makes every so off the Mother Nature say Okay, here you go.

  • Here's your ultimate person or your ultimate athletes.

  • For this particular era, you have Serena.

  • In tennis, you have Tiger Woods and golf.

  • You have LeBron James.

  • Listen, you can't duplicate people like this, Mohammed.

  • I lead These people are different, gifted, and I feel against for error or guilt for time.

  • And no steroids cannot make people like that.

  • It can help the body recover.

  • You know, that's that's the main thing.

  • Uh, can it make you Can it work without science?

  • No, it can't.

  • You still have to understand protein carbohydrates.

  • You here still have to understand, uh, training principles.

  • All of those science, a steroid can actually only give you maybe 10%.

  • Maybe even that maybe, maybe 5%.

  • The rest has toe be you.

  • It has to be knowledge.

  • It has to be your genetic blueprint that was on Lee.

  • Given by God.

  • You cannot make that, uh, super athletes glad Edel's are born.

  • They're not made in the laboratory.

  • Mhm.

  • But it will probably always be part of bodybuilding because it's so in front of you and so visual.

  • And people want that extra 10%.

  • Do you think it will always be part of that sport?

  • I think we always being part of every sport, you know, Notice.

  • No sports.

  • Say, Well, there was no no steroids or antibiotics used, uh, you know, it wasn't used.

  • It just says who got caught.

  • So a long a sport exist?

  • They're going to exist, you know?

  • And I think when athletes if listen to something gonna help you perform for another 3 to 4 years in your sport to take care of your family, then by all means, it's your choice to do that, you know?

  • So for people to sit behind a desk and push a pencil and their way of making a living is totally different than that of athlete.

  • They have no right to cross that line and be judgmental.

  • You know, I've I've heard recently this morning those young lady was those personal got a TV show saying, Oh, you know, shame on them.

  • But wait a minute.

  • You have all these enhancements this boys, you know, your eyes, your lips, your chest, your you know, all of these different things.

  • And yet those athletes are trying to make a living to take care of his family.

  • You're doing it for the vanity.

  • And so how do you judge that?

  • You know what I'm saying?

  • What is right and what is wrong?

  • I say if a guy is going to is going to help you repair to take care of his family to stay in the game longer.

  • Then there you go.

  • I think if they're going to do it, uh, money into, uh, it should be may be monitored so that all athletes, if they want to, they have the opportunity to it.

  • But when you get athletes, there's 35 years old or 30 versus 1 24.

  • It should.

  • There is a difference because your hormone level is different at age 30 than it is at 24.

  • So that's something for the science community to come up with and makes a decision on.

  • You know, we just call it these days when you 50 60 you call it aged management.

  • Madison.

  • It's the same thing.

  • It helps to manage your age.

  • It keeps you in the game, was feeling good and being functional and who don't want to feel good and be function.

  • Yeah, no, that's true.

  • And what do you think that that some of that spread started spreading like in the nineties and the two thousands in tow?

  • Hip hop and all these other things.

  • And pretty soon, guys that would never take stories are now taking them.

  • And you know, now, sometimes it's down to the high school kids and they think it's the magic solution.

  • Do you think it's gone too far, or do you think everyone should be able to make their own decisions?

  • Well, I really think is going too far, you know, particularly you're talking high school and and college kids and those kinds of things.

  • You know, I think it is too far.

  • It ain't so many people want, though.

  • They want to achieve success quicker without paying the price.
