Hey, Lebron, can you take us through the No Look three and as much detail assed possible.
-
Um, well, my teammate, uh, well, hit me with a bet on the sideline, and I was I took the bet while I was still shooting the ball.
-
So, you know, a bed isn't official to be looking, man, and I So I had to look into the eye, and, um, I was able to win that one.
-
Okay, I'm gonna need a couple follow ups on this one.
-
Who was the team, mate?
-
Dennis the menace.
-
Okay.
-
And so was the bet.
-
Just like, Can you turn around and look at me, or can you do it?
-
No luck or what were his words that you heard?
-
Uh, you said bet you won't make it.
-
And in order to make a bet official, you've gotta have a handshake or you got looking at, and I So he said, Bet it and I turned around looking, and I and I said better.
-
What did you think of your other teammates?
-
Reactions around Venice there.
-
I love my teammates, man way Got a great group of guys and we want to continue to build what we've been doing on the road so far.
-
Tonight was another example of a a lot of people comparing that shot.
-
Just some Steph Curry does.
-
Kcp just told you tell that, uh, you know, Nick Young did it and missed it.
-
Gilbert Arenas did it.
-
Made it at a game winner.
-
Who do you associate that shot with an MBA History?
-
Well, step is definitely probably done it the most in our league on when you shoot the ball as beautiful and effortlessly and precisely as Steph does.
-
Um, he has the ultimate autre green light to do that because 10 times out of nine is going in for Steph.
-
Bill LeBron.
-
Uh, what do you attribute?
-
This team's chemistry and the energy you were talking about?
-
The love you have for your teammates.
-
You know, you guys haven't been together that long.
-
It's a lot of new guys.
-
What do you attribute this kind of instant bond?
-
We all got one common goal on our common goals to hold each other accountable.
-
Um, you know, put a lot of pressure on us as individuals or individual self aan den.
-
If one individual eyes not feeling like himself then we pick our brother, and that's what it's all about.
-
We got a common go to compete every night to play championship basketball, to be selfless, and, you know, that's both on and off the floor.
-
So we know we can't, you know, obviously can't do much off the floor with the landscape of, you know, covert and the pandemic things of that nature.
-
But our film sessions are playing rides and our bus, um, you know, Sessions has give us some some camaraderie.
-
Well, okay, um you know, you said before this road trip that so far you guys have been playing BB plus basketball.
-
Where do you guys put these two games against the Rockets?
-
And how close to your potential do you think you guys played on this trip?
-
E think we played some really good basketball on this trip, but I think that that question was asked after the 1st 10 games, How would you access your team?
-
S o?
-
I have a better assessment.
-
Have toe.
-
Um, you know, after game 20 give us another grade, but I thought we played some really good basketball.
-
Especially defensively.
-
We heard what are what are Captain 80 said after San Antonio game.
-
And from there on, we've been We've been locking last two.
-
Dad.
-
Work E Hey, LeBron.
-
I kind of a two parter for you.
-
The league today announces, you know, some updates to the protocols that are pretty restrictive.
-
Um, you know, the bubble life is much as anybody.
-
You lived it longer than anybody, Any other player.
-
I hate to always remind you of that, but what can it be replicated without the physical bubble?
-
And, I guess, have your thoughts about potentially ever returning if necessary.
-
Has that changed at all since the day you left or land?
-
Um, well, the bubble was a success.
-
Obviously from a from a player from a performance standpoint, as far as our lead getting it, getting it back.
-
Go on.
-
Um, you know, I haven't thought about the bubble much after I left.
-
Um, once again, Dan, you continue to give me PTSD.
-
Every time you asked me about the bubble, I started start shaking and thinking about 96 straight nights in that place.
-
Uh uh.
-
But you know, for us I don't know.
-
I think for our team way live in L.
-
A County.
-
So, um, pretty much the new protocols and things that came out today is pretty much everything we've been doing since March of last year.
-
So, um, not too much has changed on our landscape.
-
For us as a ball club or us as a team or as a franchise.
-
Um, eso it doesn't It doesn't change too much for us.
-
Um, obviously, if if any of you guys live in l A county, most of you guys do this with our B team.
-
But it's pretty much standard for us anyway.
-
So it's easy for us to go about the new protocol any way, shape or fashion.
-
Last question.
-
Mark Medina.
-
LeBron to follow up on that.
-
I mean, given the handful of games have been postponed this week, what is your comfort level of the league's ability to navigate through this and complete?
-
This is, um way knew that the tougher months we're gonna be right after the holidays, you know, Thanksgiving and then Christmas for the majority.
-
Obviously, this is the most.
-
These are the two holidays where you wanna be around family.
-
Everyone should be around family eso You know, we will come out of this stronger.
-
Obviously, we never want our games to be postponed because of the virus and Cove and things of that nature.
-
But I think we have a A great group was far a Zen beside an M V p a side uh, that that will continue to do due diligence and continue Thio keep things moving and running on.
-
Hopefully all the guys that, uh, you know, been hit with Kobe.
-
Hopefully they come back stronger, they get over it.
-
Andi, any of the traces going on as well.
-
But, um, you know, our league is always been receptive tow.
-
Our players are receptive to the franchises and everything that's going on.
-
And obviously we know what the pandemic in the covert issue is still going on.
-
We wanna be receptive today.
-
So, um, you know, I think we're Onda still in a really good place and, you know, we continue toe always, you know, work for the best on help for the best.
-
So, um, you know, that's what it's about.
-
