  • whether you use a digital pen, a touch screen or a mouse, the drawing features in office can help you add notes, create shapes, edit text and more.

  • You can find the draw tab on the ribbon in word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • If it isn't there, just right, click on the ribbon, then select customized the ribbon, then make sure the draw boxes checked in the right pane.

  • Click OK and draw will now be available on the ribbon.

  • Draw offers three types of drawing textures pen, pencil and highlighter, each of them giving you a different look.

  • To choose one, just click on it and you're ready to start drawing.

  • If you want to change its color or thickness, click the drop down menu and select whatever you like.

  • When you're done, click away from the menu to resume drawing.

  • If you click Inc to shape, you can turn your drawings into standard shapes like a circle square or arrow.
