  • You know, I have to say many things I miss.

  • I am quite happy here in L.

  • A.

  • But many things I miss about New York the years that I lived there would be, uh, occasionally working on the late night show.

  • Or even when I worked at SNL, I would be in your sphere.

  • And I get to sit at a table sometimes on the Upper West Side on a couple of occasions with you and Lauren and a few other people.

  • And you are one of the best raconteurs.

  • I tell people this.

  • No one has stories.

  • No one has stories like Alec Baldwin.

  • I would just roar.

  • And it was like being in a salon whenever I was around you.

  • Because you've got stories about everybody.

  • You've met everybody in the business.

  • You're a terrific impressionist.

  • You talk about Al Pacino and got it was fun to listen to.

  • You did the Godfather thing.

  • Apparently, De Niro, when I did your show and we did the bit about the gag about the Godfather of the Union show.

  • Then Bob went on Colbert and mentioned that they said, Bob, who is who?

  • Who does you the best?

  • He said a little, a lot of people, but I like Alec, He said.

  • Alec did this thing about the reunion, which I did on your show.

  • But who was the guy Craig Gasses?

  • That was then Craig Gas.

  • He's that comic that does the best.

  • Pacino He did a great one trying to remember.

  • I'm trying to remember.

  • Here is my favorite Pacino routine.

  • Can't remember.

  • Maybe your listeners can.

  • Who?

  • The great comedian Waas, who used to do the famous impersonation he would say.

  • He lives out there now he's out there.

  • Kids.

  • I never see him anymore.

  • You know, when I when last I saw him for one of them.

  • I mean, I saw him a couple of times, baby.

  • But one of the last times I saw was that the Tony Awards years ago, Uh, and at Mark Rylance had won the Tony Award and Mark Violence gets up and gives a speech with this very strange and very opaque speech.

  • It really couldn't follow what he was saying.

  • I think he was reciting a monologue from the play and right, is he finished?

  • The music swells up.

  • It's gonna be a break for a commercial, and you and you hear that voice go.

  • What was that about?

  • Alec?

  • What was that?

  • What?

  • What was he sharing like?

  • I don't understand one thing.

  • I will watch it.

  • I will watch it, Bob.

  • It's like a tie that Bob is.

  • So you know, Bob is, uh, you know, you can't get close to either of their careers anymore.

  • That's impossible.

  • But Bob Z, there's an intensity there that I I don't even know if I could ever pull that up.

  • You know, Bob himself Bob and realize he's so sweet.

  • He said, You're so kind to me.

  • We were doing We did this roast for Comedy Central and they got Bob to come and do it, and they moved it from New York to L.
