  • I really enjoy watching my audience dance

  • before the show starts.

  • And I didn't notice that there are good dancers.

  • And the good dancers come in all shapes and sizes.

  • You can't really judge a dancer by the cover.

  • Unless it's an old white guy.

  • Then you kind of can.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • Anyway, it's fun to guess whether someone can dance

  • or not, don't you think, when you look at somebody?

  • [APPLAUSE]

  • Uh-oh is right.

  • It gave me an idea for a game and we're calling

  • it Do You Think They Can Dance?

  • [MUSIC PLAYING, APPLAUSE]

  • Andy is up there with his broken hand.

  • And he is going to bring an audience

  • member into the aisle and tWitch and I are going to guess--

  • and you can play along, too-- whether they can dance or not.

  • But if you're with that person, you're

  • disqualified because you'll know automatically.

  • All right, Andy's going to pick somebody.

  • OK.

  • Ellen I'm here with --

  • All right.

  • Sharon.

  • Do you think they can dance?

  • Do I think Sharon can dance?

  • Sharon doesn't look thrilled to be there right now.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • She's not like, oh wait till show you my moves.

  • How do you feel, tWitch?

  • I kind of feel the same.

  • Like the confidence level is not that high.

  • Unless it's like when the beat hits, she's just like, ah--

  • Right.

  • I don't know.

  • I can't tell.

  • It just takes over.

  • What do you do for a living, Sharon?

  • I'm a stay-at-home mom.

  • A stay-at-home mom.

  • So we're going to play some music.

  • It won't be awkward.

  • There'll be music.

  • So show us what you got, Sharon.

  • [MUSIC PLAYING, APPLAUSE]

  • OK.

  • Right.

  • OK.

  • Yeah.

  • I'll tell you something.

  • Yeah.

  • I personally think that you have rhythm and you can dance.

  • You shouldn't have tried the Floss.

  • Yeah.

  • That's when you lost me.

  • That's my 11-year-old.

  • The back hand kind of got away from you.

  • Yeah.

  • There were different areas of flossing

  • that went in different areas.

  • Have to be in control of those arms.

  • But I mean, I do think that she can dance though,

  • because she has rhythm and she was fine up until then.

  • Do you agree?

  • Yeah, until the Floss happened.

  • Yeah, yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • [LAUGHS]

  • Yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Your seven-year-old told you that was the Floss?

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • You know, it's just us at home.

  • Dance like no one's watching.

  • Right, exactly.

  • Yeah.

  • But we were watching this time.

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • This time, we watched.

  • All right.

  • You win nothing at all.

  • Sit down.

  • And that's not because you can't dance.

  • It's just there's no prize for this game.

  • All right, Andy's going to pick somebody else, he thinks.

  • Oh, Andy.

  • Ooh.

  • [APPLAUSE]

  • Ellen, I'm with--

  • Will.

  • Do you think they can dance?

  • What is your name, sir?

  • Will.

  • Will.

  • Look at Will's confidence level.

  • Yeah, yeah.

  • Yeah.

  • Who are you here with, Will?

  • Myself.

  • You came by yourself?

  • Yeah, I think you're cool.

  • Wow.

  • [APPLAUSE]

  • That's right.

  • That's cool.

  • I think Will going do anything he wants to do.

  • Yeah.

  • There you go.

  • There you go.

  • What do you think about Will?

  • Be honest.

  • I think that--

  • I don't know.

  • I'm not sure.

  • What do you do, Will?

  • IT computers.

  • IT computers.

  • You know what?

  • I think he's going to surprise us all.

  • You think so?

  • Yeah, because he thinks I'm cool.

  • And I have a feeling that because I dance,

  • he dances because of me.

  • And I think that he actually can dance

  • and he's going to surprise us.

  • Let's give Will some music.

  • All right.

  • [MUSIC PLAYING, APPLAUSE]

  • Oh!

  • [LAUGHS]

  • Wow.

  • Wow.

  • Yeah.

  • Wow.

  • Yeah.

  • Man!

  • Wow to Will.

  • Yeah.

  • Will, awesome.

  • Wow.

  • All right.

  • How many more do we have?

  • This is exciting.

  • I like this game.

  • Ellen, I'm here with--

  • Leah.

  • Do you think they can dance?

  • Leah, what do you do?

  • I'm a pharmacist.

  • A pharmacist.

  • Do you ever sample any of your things?

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • You're supposed to, then you can counsel people properly.

  • I see, yeah.

  • All right.

  • What do you think, tWitch?

  • I don't know.

  • I mean, Will is going to be a little hard to follow.

  • I'm not going to lie.

  • I know.

  • You must have been, uh, I gotta follow Will.

  • Yeah.

  • So you really got to go all out right now to impress for me.

  • I'm going to say--

  • are you married?

  • Are you single?

  • I'm married.

  • You're married.

  • Do you all go out and dance a lot?

  • Absolutely.

  • You do?

  • Oh, all right.

  • Well then, I'm going to say yes.

  • I think she can dance.

  • OK.

  • I think they can dance, yes.

  • Let's give her some music.

  • [MUSIC PLAYING, APPLAUSE]

  • Nope.

  • I see what you're doing.

  • You're just not on beat.

  • No.

  • No.

  • No.

  • No.

  • No.

  • I'm going to keep it real.

  • I'm going to keep it real.

  • It's fine.

  • Fine?

  • It's fine.

  • OK.

  • But I think you overused the same move.

  • Yeah.

  • It's such a good one.

  • And then the spirit was great-- sorry.

  • The spirit was great, but then the beat

  • was kind of left behind.

  • Yeah.

  • I see.

  • OK.

  • It was concentrating on the moves

  • without incorporating to that specific groove.

  • You know what I mean?

  • Yes.

  • You knew ahead of time you were going to do that without going,

  • does that go with this song?

  • [LAUGHTER]

  • Thank you for your feedback.

  • Yeah.

I really enjoy watching my audience dance
