Wow.
-
Yeah.
-
[APPLAUSE]
-
Yo!
-
This energy in here is crazy.
-
Crazy, right?
-
[APPLAUSE]
-
It's crazy.
-
Quick.
-
I love-- I love what you've done with the place, man.
-
It's so much culture and soul, and melody up in here.
-
I'm saying, you know?
-
I'm saying.
-
I didn't know if this was Ellen or BET.
-
I'm saying--
-
You know.
-
We've got a little magic going on, man.
-
Speaking of magic, man, let me-- hold up.
-
Just-- did everybody see the shoes, by the way?
-
Everybody see the shoes?
-
I see you shining, boy.
-
Hold on, now.
-
I see that.
-
The diamond shoes?
-
Bro-- and that was your song you just walked out to, right?
-
Yeah.
-
That was my song, featuring Jacquees and Ty Dolla $ign.
-
"Nobody Else."
-
It's almost gold.
-
I appreciate y'all.
-
Still making music.
-
Still doing it.
-
Absolutely.
-
That's what I'm saying.
-
You're still making music, you're
-
hosting The Masked Singer, you have your radio show,
-
and you're back in college?
-
Yeah.
-
Yeah.
-
Now, you're graduating in May, right?
-
Walking across that stage in May with my BA in criminology, man.
-
And my masters-- I'm still going to graduate school.
-
My masters in psychology, and hopefully my PhD
-
in divinity and theology.
-
Wow.
-
Keep it going.
-
Wow.
-
That's the goal.
-
That's the goal.
-
I've got to get to May first, though.
-
I gotta get to May.
-
Yeah, exactly.
-
I'm about to say, man, how do you-- when do you sleep?
-
I don't.
-
OK.
-
I don't.
-
On the planes, in the backseat of cars.
-
In class.
-
Mhm.
-
Yeah.
-
I just got caught--
-
if you go online and Google Nick Cannon sleeping in class,
-
there's a bunch of pictures with my mouth open.
-
But yeah, man, cause I mean, it's a lot of traveling,
-
obviously.
-
But I mean, college work, these exams and these papers
-
are real.
-
So that's the only time where I really-- you know,
-
I try to stay focused, but sleep--
-
I have too much fun awake.
-
Life is--
-
Yeah.
-
Life is so much fun, man.
-
That tells you, someone who's truly happy,
-
they try to get as many of these hours as possible.
-
I see that, man.
-
And what's really interesting, too, and I want to know this,
-
is you decided to go back and focus on education.
-
Why education?
-
Because you've been in show business for so long.
-
So why to go back and get the degree?
-
I learned that lesson, man.
-
It sounds very cliche, but it's like, education is true wealth.
-
You know what I mean?
-
All this material stuff, the diamond shoes, and all--
-
it doesn't really matter, because all that stuff
-
can be taken away from you.
-
But the one thing they cannot take away from you is
-
your knowledge.
-
Mm.
-
[APPLAUSE]
-
Amen.
-
Yes, sir.
-
Yes, sir.
-
Now, look, let me switch gears for a second,
-
because something you said got a lot of attention.
-
Uh-oh.
-
You said that you would marry Mariah again.
-
Aw, here you go.
-
Now, I'm just saying--
-
You're supposed to be my boy.
-
You know I gotta ask.
-
I'm just saying, what did Mariah say about that?
-
If Mariah could dance like your pregnant wife,
-
I'd marry her tomorrow, too.
-
I remember Mariah at nine months.
-
She wasn't doing the stanky leg.
-
And she had two babies in there, but naw, that
-
was super impressive, though, man.
-
That was amazing.
-
But no, obviously I said I probably would never
-
get married again, because I'm still
-
working on myself and trying to become a better man.
-
That's what I said.
-
OK.
-
And I said-- but if I had to, I've already been there.
-
I know what that's like.
-
I would go back home first before I would do it again.
-
Absolutely.
-
So I mean, I don't even know.
-
Mariah, she's fine, everything's happy.
-
We're having an amazing co-parenting relationship.
-
Our kids are so happy, so I'd rather just-- you know,
-
it's calm waters.
-
Let's just keep it-- we got it, baby.
-
Absolutely.
-
Absolutely.
-
Keep it calm.
-
Keep it calm.
-
Keep it lovely.
-
See, that's my kids, my mama, Mariah, we're just hanging out.
-
We look happy together.
-
I love that.
-
I love that.
-
Now, let's switch up.
-
You're here to talk about The Masked Singer, man.
-
Yeah.
-
Y'all like The Masked Singer?
-
Y'all feeling it?
-
Second season, man.
-
Yeah.
-
[APPLAUSE]
-
It's in its second season.
-
Yeah.
-
It's already been picked up for a third season?
-
Yeah, we're coming on right after the Super Bowl.
-
You know we're giving it to 'em.
-
Wow.
-
It's going, too.
-
My dude.
-
So let me ask you this-- you've already filmed the show, right?
-
So you know who won.
-
See, there you go.
-
See, you know who's who.
-
I don't-- I got amnesia.
-
Oh, OK.
-
I don't remember how it actually happened.
-
But naw, you know what's interesting about this show,
-
because it happens so fast and it
-
is in such a live environment, that a lot of this
-
stuff that you do, you--
-
I'm watching the show, I'm like, oh, I forgot about that clue.
-
Oh-- and I'll be confusing myself, right?
-
It is-- but it's even, like, right there you see--
-
Ninja?
-
My man Ninja, and my kids.
-
They love him.
-
Right.
-
And they kind of-- they were guessing at home,
-
and they was like, come on, dad.
-
You know who that is.
-
And I don't like to lie to my children,
-
so I was just pantomiming, like--
-
it might be him.
-
It might be him.
-
And they picked up on it.
-
They guessed it, so it worked out.
-
Love that man.
-
Look, when we come back, we're going
-
to play a game with Nick Cannon.
-
Uh-oh.
-
Hi, I'm Andy.
-
Ellen asked me to remind you to subscribe to her channel
-
so you can see more awesome videos,
-
like videos of me getting scared or saying embarrassing things.
-
Like ball peen hammer.
-
And also, some videos of Ellen and other celebrities.
-
If you're into that sort of thing.
-
Ah!
-
[BLEEP]
-
God!
