all right good morning good morning guys it is day three our last full day here

in la cumbrecita and let's eat that how are you doing I'm doing okay it's a beautiful day I mean
-
today it's the day that the Sun has decided to come out yeah full force it's
-
not a cloud in the sky yeah which is unusual because you know for the whole
-
time we've been here it's been quite cloudy
-
yeah not a cloud in the sky today so the plan today we are planning to visit a
-
place called Peñon del Águila which is kind of like an
-
adventure park where you can go ziplining hiking abseiling they have a
-
restaurant there lots of different activities so we're gonna do that and
-
then then we're gonna have some swiss food so one of the most popular
-
restaurants in La Cumbrecita is yeah I think it's called the Swiss bar el bar suizo
-
sweet love sweet oh yeah and so we're gonna go there and devour
-
some swiss food for lunch late lunch
-
so we are now on our way to Peñon del Águila and the path goes past my old
-
school this is where I went to primary school all the way to grade six and the
-
school has expanded but here it is tada Audrey's old stomping grounds this
-
section here did not exist we only had this part

that's where I studied

this little hanging bridge wobbles a bit

well we have arrived at Peñon del Águila road a little tractor train which
-
is kind of fun it was bumpy and it was dusty like we arrived covered in dust
-
even though it's just a five minute ride but yeah now we're here we got the
-
cheapest path the green one so basically we have access to the different hiking
-
trails but none of the zip lines which we're cool with because we don't love
-
Heights um so yeah we're on one of the trails and we're just going to walk
-
around the grounds enjoy the views enjoy nature the peace and tranquility of this
-
place such a beautiful summer day seriously everything is so lush and
-
green blue skies so it's gonna be a fun day
-
we are starving are starving yeah we are hot you're
-
sweaty yeah we enjoyed it was it was a gorgeous
-
hike like the weather was just couldn't have been any better not a cloud in the
-
sky the views were incredible and it kind of
-
felt like a private path because I mean it is a it is a private property so
-
there are certain sections of the trail where it was just the two of us yeah
-
well especially because most people were ziplining and not sailing and we were
-
just like oh hi we're good with hiking forgive a thank you so that is the
-
update now Swiss food
-
well it is time for lunch we have arrived to Swiss bar El Bar Suizo
-
and as you can tell by this contraption in front of us we are going to be having
-
raclette we were here a few nights ago with a friend and she told us we have to
-
try it it's a really popular Swiss dish apparently and you take these little
-
paddles mini frying pans you put your cheese on you melt it
-
so you stick it in yeah you put some spices on the cheese and then once it
-
melts you take that and you put it on top of a jacket potato and they also
-
give you a whole bunch of other ingredients like pickles onions there
-
was some just different things and you load the potato and it's delicious also
-
last time we thought it was just 1 / 1 / - yo per person and then they say this
-
is for two people but last time four of us ate from it and we were stopped who
-
stuffed so yeah we are looking forward to this meal yes we ordered some beers
-
so we both ordered the blonde really nice super refreshing yet to come
-
okay so we just added the sausage and the mushrooms so they can start cooking
-
and I'm gonna take this little thing we have two types of cheese one is
-
mozzarella the other one I can't remember the name and we also have one
-
Giada it looks like different name Paula voya on the bottom so let's do it right
-
it doesn't stick yeah then we drop her achievement here this
-
is our first meal and caseta know yeah oregano to be honest we were enjoying it
-
far too much to film it plus it was dark out now yes now look let me zoom in here
-
so it goes underneath and you just wait now the waiting game begins
-
and once that's ready it's gonna be marvelous
-
four potatoes per person I hope you brought your appetite Sam I did um but
-
yeah we're just gonna slide some of this alright I also plenty dessert by the way
-
I I may wait because I've seen a lot of ice cream shops around yeah one of them
-
across the street has ice cream flavors like better man yeah which is kind of
-
like a nasty alcoholic drink are you gonna get that flavor then
-
no I definitely prefer licorice over for now yeah yeah oh yeah yeah we're just
-
gonna keep cooking good yeah my mouth is just water
-
you know the cheese is done when it starts to melt and you basically pour it
-
on top of the potato quite a bit longer it does give it a few more minutes this
-
is looking pretty good looks ready to me kind of gooey so yeah I've got my jacket
-
potato already on my plate cut in half so now I'm just gonna load it up with
-
lots of delicious toppings
-
let's begin I'm gonna try and grab as many
-
ingredients as possible honestly there's so many different
-
things at the table like we also have peppers pineapple pineapple yeah I mean
-
we have the sausage mushrooms pickles good oh there's olives Isis so this is
-
just a little sandwich
-
how's that wonderful yeah that's just so delicious I love the addition of the
-
different toppings like I thought this was just gonna be cheese the first time
-
we ordered that there's so much more to it very happy I hope I can eat more
-
potatoes just so I can play around with the toppings and try different
-
combinations but so far so good just as good as I remember it from a few nights
-
ago I'm gonna let you eat a little bit now but so far it's just been me
-
enjoying your time that she's looking well melted that is ready yeah ready to
-
save room gooey goodness oh man look at that
-
yes what else are you gonna add to it there are so many different toppings so
-
I'm gonna try one with a bit of the meat pickle pepper good to go pick her it up
-
oh just use your hands okay how is that ball
-
I'm so incredible just as good the second time around
-
oh I'm gonna like even more because I I've done more exercise it's time around
-
you've spent the whole morning hiking along with the carbs I think we need to
-
get one of these things whatever they're called yes these reflects stones on them
-
there's the more potatoes to devour for us

well I don't even know how this is possible Sam we're eating like four
-
potatoes I'm so stuffed but you know the desserts are amazing this is called the
-
cold dessert yeah and it's basically it's cheese it's a ricotta cheese
-
dessert ricotta cheesecake yes and it also has raspberries yeah so it's sweet
-
still a little tart just gotten everything going on Oh perfect way to
-
end this meal mm-hmm oh my gosh guys I'm so full I'm so tired
-
I'm still dying here maybe the biggest yes after a full bowl I'm buzzed I do
-
points I'm tired like go to bed later friends yeah so souvenir shopping in
-
lafoon de siiva we are currently in a place called casitas Weesa which means
-
little Swiss house this place is run by a childhood friends parents it is super
-
cute in here you can find anything I mean like there's teacups coffee cups
-
beer mugs magnets like all sort of typical German Alpine Swiss Austrian
-
souvenirs so we're gonna give you a little tour around so you have an idea
-
the types of gifts you can buy in this area
-
so you guys we've mentioned this one beer a few times it's called vehicles
-
whistle and it's a brewery that was started by my friend's parents so I'm
-
gonna show you it because they were like yeah you can go inside you can film it's
-
cool so yeah we're gonna show you the interior of the brewery and you can get
-
this beer lots of different bars restaurants and establishments around
-
town so we're gonna show you that right now
-
alright guys we are back in our little cottage
-
we forgot to wrap up the video after that wonderful meal we were honestly in
-
a bit of a food coma so the total was a thousand and seventy pesos which would
-
be 28 US dollars for that massive feast that is the raclette honestly they tell
-
you it's for two people it's for four you can feed four hungry adults so yeah
-
it was really good we also ended up getting cake Sam had a delicious ricotta
-
and raspberry cake it was wonderful I tried some too and yeah that's today's
-
